2:20 Chelmsford Winning Race Tips (11th January) GREENE KING HANDICAP (CLASS 3) (4yo+ 0-95) Winner £7,876 10 runners 5f Standard

A welcome return to Chelsford City (Great Leighs). A decent class three handicap with ten runners. Obviously there's no relevant course form so its going to be a bit of a guess as to which horses will like the course. Lingfield and Kempton have the same surface so it I will be using that form as a rough guide. Theres two known front runners: It Must Be Faith, drawn in stall one and Royal Bajan drawn ten. This horse is my second top rated from its best run at Kempton. Third and fourth top rated Swiss Cross and Sleepy Sioux can both either be held up or track the leaders while the top rated DOCTOR PARKES 6/1 is usually held up and it looks like it will get the fast early pace it likes to aim at but most of its wins have been in slightly lower grades. If it gets a clear run it must have a chance.

3:50 Chelmsford - Fourteen runners in a class six race with two possible front runners: Kodafine, who I think will be better suited on a slower surface but still registers in sixth place on my figures; the other possible leader is Telegraph who I think could be a hidden danger in the race. It has run five times on the all-weather from five-to-eight furlongs but if it gets to lead it could have a chance of showing quite a bit of improvement but I think it will be better on a slower surface. My top four, Foie Gras, Danzoe, Saskias Dream and INVIGILATOR 20/1 can all either be held up or track the leaders but my top rated is drawn in stall thirteen, also the trainers statistics for all of the top four are quite poor.

SUMMARY: It will be a bit of a guessing game to analyse races here for a quite while so stakes must be kept to a minimum - I cant emphasise that enough. For the 2:20 Chelmsford - I'm siding with DOCTOR PARKES 6/1 to finish with its usual flourish and at least, hopefully, make the frame and has a chance of winning. 3:50 Chelmsford - race is quite poor and with all of my top four ratings having poor trainer stats I will have to suggest a very small bet on my top rated INVIGILATOR 20/1 and hope at the price at least makes the frame.

Doctor Parkes 6/1 4th
Invigilator 20/1 1st
