3:55 Wolverhampton Winning Race Tips (29th April) POLYROOF PRODUCTS HANDICAP (Tapeta) (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-55)

A poor class six race with only two horses even registering on my figures and two or possibly three hidden dangers, those dangers being Cottrell, Lucky Clover and the only three year old in the race, Frank The Barber so this one might have a hidden chance, all three have led races at a longer distance so if they have the speed to lead here they could burn the rest off, my second top rated Dream Sika is another horse that likes to lead whilst my top rated ECLIPTIC SUNRISE 7/2 who normally tracks the leaders and in reality may prefer a longer trip so im hoping they go too fast in the lead and leave the race open for a horse that can finish strongly.

5:20 Pontefract - Another poor race and once again only two horses have even made the lowest grade to register in my figures, there's two horses, Le Laitier and Fathom Five who have been known to lead before but neither are in my top two ratings, second top rated is Pabusar who can be held up or track the leaders whilst my top rated is Iggy but firstly this horse hasn't run since October last year so may need the run to gain fitness, secondly the trainer is very much out of form recently so that's two negatives and the final negative is the claiming jockey who has ridden one winner from thirty rides for the stable so if I add on the apprentices claim instead of taking it off it pushes PABUSAR 5/1 to the top spot and I cant see any obvious negatives from the stable of this horse.

SUMMARY: Neither race is very good so stakes should be kept to a low level, 3:55 with five of the seven runners having led before it could be a very fast race for its class and I'm hoping they will go too fast in front and play into the hands of ECLIPTIC SUNRISE 7/2 who should be staying on strongly at the finish. In the 5.20 there's only two horses with a time fast enough to register on my graphs and with the apprentice on Iggy changes one from the top and tips it into the other ones favour so I'm hoping PABUSAR 5/1 will be able to get a decent early position and prove the stronger but I would maybe have a small saving bet on IGGY 9/1 just in case I'm wrong about the apprentices booking being a negative factor.

Ecliptic Sunrise 9/2 4th
Pabusar 9/1 4th
Iggy 9/1 (adv) 1st
