Eight runners again but this time only Can You Conga being known to lead but is only fifth on my figures but could have place claims if it gets an easy uncontested lead, third top is Manatee Bay who can either track the leaders or be held up which also applies to my top two ratings, second top is Rasaman but its only one spot behind the top rated SALVATORE FURY 7/1 who would have been my selection on Friday if the going hadn't been on the soft side, so I'm hoping the fact that its coming out again so quickly is a good omen to its chances.

4:05 Windsor - Two previous leaders in this field of twelve runners but neither, Trojan Rocket and Parisian Pyramid are not in my top six, Secret Witness is my third top rated and likes to track the early leaders the same style that applies to Noble Deed my second top rated, top spot goes to EQUITY RISK 9/2 who may need the run but is from the Roger Charlton stable and looks like a horse that's been hard to get right lately, its only had thirteen runs to date and won three of them, it might really be a bit better over a longer trip but if it can reproduce its time from Leicester in 2013 it would be a good thing but its four runs in 2014 weren't up to that standard but its last run over seven furlongs at Ascot did show a sign of revival so I'm hoping they have got the horse back to somewhere near its best again but I was hoping for a better price but from these connections I suppose the price was always going to reflect that.

2:00 Carlise - Only eight runner but five of the eight have been known to lead before and that includes all of my top five ratings apart from the second top rated, Busy Bimbo who can be held up or track the leaders, fifth top Bronze Beau, fourth Rylee Mooch, third Little Eli and top Tom Sawyer 7/1 who's trainer statistics are not very great and hes not had a winner at this course from nine runners in the last five years, the amount of time is a decent guide but the number of runners has been quite limited, less than two per year, has the trainer just been unlucky or does she use the track to give her horses a run for fitness for another target, I'm never going to go against my top rated but the bet would have to be a small bet if any and hope that Julie Camacho has just been unlucky here before I'm not going to give this as a selection but thought I would share the work I've done on the race.
