7:20 Chelmsford Winning Race Tips (19th August) SCOOP6SOCCER HANDICAP (CLASS 3) (3yo+ 0-95)

Quite a nice class three race with fourteen runners and four of them have been known to lead before so it could be a fast run race on this fast surface, I think either or both Bertie Blu Boy, my fourth top rated from stall five and Red Stripes stall three will be the pace setters, Picture Dealer my third top rated is a hold up type in stall two so could get a nice run on the rails just behind the two leaders, Golden Amber is second top from stall four but this one just might get squeezed out early and may not be able to track the leaders like it usually does, top spot goes to DOCTOR SARDONICUS 8/1 this horse can deploy any tactics and still be competitive but it is drawn wide in stall thirteen lets hope its not unlucky thirteen, as long as it doesn't get stuck out wide it could be staying on at the finish.

7:40 Leicester - Fifteen runners in a class four race where I think the bottom seven in the handicap would need dramatic improvement to be involved in the finish of this race but there are three horses aged three in those seven so never say never but their not for me here. The most surprising thing is that there's only Little Palaver in the field that's been known to lead before and comes out fifth on my ratings despite the fact that the horse may be even better with some cut in the ground. Fourth top is Nezar who recorded its best time at Epsom and looked like a longer trip would suit it even more, this course is stiffer so should help but maybe not enough, third top is Sunraider who's best time came at Carlisle and can be held up or track the leaders, my second best rated is Royal Meyzan who did its best time at Windsor and might struggle to stay the trip at this stiffer circuit so will need to be held up to get the distance and will need some luck in getting a clear run. Top rated is CLUBLAND 25/1 who won last time out on the all weather surface at Southwell and looks to have been found another good opportunity here as long as the going isn't too firm, a genuine good surface suits this horse better than good to firm ground and at the price has be done as an each way bet.
