3:00 York Winning Race Tips (6th Sept) BETFRED GARROWBY STAKES (Listed Race) (CLASS 1) (3yo+)

1—Poyle Vinnie may be better over five furlongs and hasn't been in quite so good form this year and its only success came on soft going so not in my top four and omitted.

2—Divine likes to track the leaders and is third top from a time recorded at Windsor and I do think its capable of repeating its best time so ought to have place claims.

3—Moonraker is my fourth top rated from a run at Ascot and another I think is capable of a repeat performance and would need others to falter to make the frame and also being a three year old it could still improve.

4—Mubtaghaa another three year old so improvement is quite possible but needs to improve quite a lot to feature here but I doubt it would be entered in this class of race if the trainer didn't think it had some degree of chance.

5—Lucky Kristale recorded the fastest time of all the entrants in a run at Windsor and can either track the leaders or be held up and another I think is able to repeat that best time.

6—Minalisa has the second top spot from a Salisbury race and usually likes to track the leaders and ought to have place claims.

7—One Chance is only fifth on my times but it was recorded over this course and distance which must count for something but im dubious if it can be quite competitive enough to win here but should be staying on at the finish as I think it could do better over further.

8—Online Alexander hasn't done enough for me to consider in this race and may be better off when racing over the minimum distance.

9—Explosive Lady a three year old who would need to improve quite a few pounds to be competative but never say never with these youngsters.

10—Fort Del Oro a three year old that's having its first run in England and I doubt the trainer has brought it over from Ireland unless he thought it had a decent chance of winning, im not sure if it will like the going if its good to firm but I doubt it will be that dry on the day.

SUMMARY: A nice Listed class race and its quite hard to get any sort of picture of the race because there's no known front runners in the race, there are four three year olds in the race which could all be some degree of potential dangers, as usual I will be going with my top rated LUCKY KRISTALE 9/2 who might prefer either further or a fast run race so not quite sure if it will get that here and might be outpaced if it came to a two furlong sprint at the end of the race, so any stakes will have to be on the low side and of course that's if the ground dries out enough to good or better.
