5:15 Beverley Winning Race Tips (1st October) BRIAN AND JASON MERRINGTON MEMORIAL HANDICAP (Div I) (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-60)

First division of a class six minimum distance race with twelve runners and only Electric Qatar and Dads Lad having been known to lead before and I'm hoping they go a decent pace so that my selection UNDER APPROVAL 8/1 has something to aim at as it should be staying on strongly at the finish, it had been woefully out of form this season until its last run at Hamilton where it finished fifth but only beaten about one length and a reproduction of that run will see it win this race but its a very low class race and the horses are not very consistent so my stakes will be on the low side.

5:50 Beverley - Division two once again has twelve runners but this time there's only Fortinbrass and George Bailey who have been known to lead but they are not what I would call natural pace setters and only do it when nothing else wants to lead so being drawn in stalls nine and seven im not sure which will try to lead if either so the early pace could be a problem, my selection is PERFECT WORDS 8/1 who showed signs of a revival in form last time out when beaten under two lengths at Musselburgh and the same again should see it win this but my stakes have to be kept low just because at this lowly level anything can happen and inconsistency is a problem.

SUMMARY: Two divisions of a poor class race and I only had one horse in each race that had registered on my figures, which proves just how bad the races really are but both of them showed signs of revival last time out and did enough to win their races here if they repeat those last runs but stakes have to be kept low because of the lack of consistency at this level.

Under Approval 10/1 3rd
Perfect Words 81/ 8th
