3:10 Doncaster Winning Race Tips (23rd Oct) RACING POST/SIS BETTING SHOP MANAGER HANDICAP (CLASS 2) (3yo+ 0-105)

Twenty-two runners in a class two race and this is going to take a bit of solving and then it will need a bit of luck in the race, usually any bias here is high but if they split into two groups it can depend on where the lead horses are drawn, so any stakes will be kept to a sensible amount. There're three front runners: Mythmaker drawn fourteen who needs to improve quite a lot to win this, but can't be ignored being only a three-year-old but it's not for me, Gran Canaria Queen is my sixth top rated and drawn stall eighteen but take off its apprentices allowance in moves up to third top, Blaine from stall ten could lead and is my fourth top rated, so the early pace seems to be middle to high but my second top rated is Boomerang Bob drawn stall eight and it usually likes to track the pace but it hasn't been in form lately and I doubt that will change this late in the year, my top rated is Canyari but it's drawn in stall three, which could be the kiss of death if they split into two groups but if they merge into one big group down the middle then the draw may not be too much of an issue but who knows how they are going to do.

SUMMARY: I'm going to back both GRAN CANARIA QUEEN 40/1 who is a possible leader and drawn stall eighteen could have an advantage but I'm also going to back CANYARI 20/1 who usually likes to track the leaders but is drawn in stall three and I'm not sure if there's any bias or it just depends on where the early pace is but my stakes will be kept low just because of the many imponderables and at the prices both bets have to be each way.

No bet - soft ground.
