Eric's Weekly Round Up: Outrage 5/1 & Spirit Of Wedza 6/1

A very poor class six apprentices race where only three of the twenty runners have recorded a time in the last two years fast enough to register on my figures, there's also three of the field that have been known to lead before. If there's any bias at this course over six furlongs it's for those drawn in high numbered stalls of the possible leaders Coiste Bodhar and Armelle are drawn in stall two and four but Gaelic Wizard the other possible front runner is drawn stall nineteen so will probably be the one to beat of the front runners, I've got Iggy down as my third top rated but its drawn in stall nine which does mean it could go either side to where the advantage is but its a few pounds behind the top two. GOADBY12/1 is my second top rated but it has a decent draw stall sixteen which should help its cause and its only one pound behind the top rated DAYLIGHT 16/1 who did its best time in 2014 and hasn't been anywhere near that sort of time this year then add on the fact it's drawn stall one it will need to be at the very top of its game to win this but can't be dismissed easily which applies to all my top rated horses.

SUMMARY: Normally when there's only one race I would do a short summary of every horse but these are that poor I would find it hard to put anything worthwhile about most runners but there does look like there's quite a few runners that I think have virtually no chance of winning. What I think I will do is back Goadby as my main bet but at the odds it has to be an each way wager and then have a smaller each way bet on Daylight just in case it springs back to form and make a profit whichever one does the business.

No bet - Soft ground.
