6:50 Chelmsford Winning Race Tips (5th Nov) SCOOP6SOCCER THE £1 MILLION FOOTBALL BET CLAIMING STAKES (CLASS 6) (3yo+)

A poor class six claiming race and I don't always find anything worthwhile in these races but I think I have this time and I'm just hoping it's a worthwhile price, but the main bugbear to me is where the early pace is coming from as there's no known front-runner in the field.

Spitfire is my third top rated but isn't handicapped to win the race and with only seven runners its very hard to make any each way suggestions, second spot goes to For Ayman who can either track the leaders or be held up but its been drawn in stall one and may take the opportunity to try a front style for this race and if so could be hard to catch if it takes to the new style of running, Head Space hasn't done a time fast enough to register on my figures but is officially the second best handicapped horse in the race but I think its rating is mainly achieved from its five-furlong form but if there's not a fast early pace then it just might be able to have enough left for the finish but I'm sure just like most other times something will set a decently fast early pace.

Top spot goes to GREYFRIARSCHORISTA 9/2 who is officially the top rated horse but has only had one run this year and that was three weeks ago and last season it was tried over longer trips so it should have the stamina for this race and could even try to lead all the way and even if not it should be staying on strongly at the finish, there are a few if's and but's so any stake will be on the small side but if its in good form it should have a good chance to take this race.
