Eric's Weekly Round Up: The Lacemaker 100/30 + Walk On Walter 16/1 + £43.75 F/C

A weak class seven race with a splattering of horses that could be hidden dangers, I've only got Blistering Dancer as a front runner and it could improve with an uncontested lead but its naught from nine on the all weather tracks but none of them have been on this Tapeta surface so cant be dismissed easily as this race wont take much winning, the only horse I can make a case for is DIAMOND VINE 8/1 as it is a horse capable of springing back to form without warning but any stakes will be low in fact very low and as the price is just big enough to back each way then that's the way I will be going.
32 6:45 Wolverhampton - Not a great race for me mainly because there's no known front runner in the field, Wedgewood Estates is my fourth top but may prefer further which also applies to Charlie Lad who is my joint second top rated the other joint second top rated is Rat Catcher whilst top spot is Spray Tan who hasn't won since December 2014 and its been nowhere near that since, so I think its a race best left alone.

7:15 Wolverhampton - Despite being another class six race but this one looks quite a nice race with a good balance of varied racing styles, I've got two marked down as front runners, Frank The Barber who is my fourth top rated but stall eight isn't ideal, I've got three joint top rated, Jolly Red Jeanz the bottom weight but from stall nine will either get taken wide or have to be held up which isn't really its style and will need some luck to be able to run to its best time, Your Gifted did me a favour when it won the time before last over this course and distance but I've got GIVE US A BELLE 14/1 as my joint top rated plus the other front runner and although stall seven doesn't look great there's nothing inside of it known to lead and if it is allowed to set its own pace up front then it could lead and hang on here as this looks a bit weaker than the race it ran in last time out where it was caught inside the final furlong but it was a fast run race and is a big enough price for me to bet each way.
