4:20 Lingfield Racing Tips (4th April) JEC FILLIES´ HANDICAP (CLASS 4) (4yo+ 0-80)

1—Diamond Lady is my second top rated from a time recorded last year and this season its ran twice here but over seven furlongs but both times were quite slow but they may have just been for fitness so if they have worked could be thereabouts.

2—Glastonberry also recorded its best time last year and this one also has had two runs over seven furlongs here for what looks like to get fit, its usually held up or runs in midfield from where to attack late in the race.

3—Pixeleen has been known to lead before but I think this distance stretches its stamina if its a fast run race so may want to lead and then slow things down so it can kick off the bend to pinch the race from the front but may not get an uncontested lead in this race.

4—Elusive Ellen is my third top rated but I'm of the opinion this one might prefer a longer trip to show its best so should be staying on at the finish especially if it is a fast early pace but not sure if it will be quite fast enough.

5—Alhella hasn't got any form over this course and distance but is the most natural front runner in the race and any horse with an uncontested lead can scupper a lot ideas and I've marked it as a possibly hidden danger and stall one must help its cause in trying to get to the front.

6—Saved My Bacon in my opinion is much better over five furlongs although it has won at this trip but has never run at this course before and unless its a crawl early on I think this horse may fade near the finish.

7—Invade is my fourth top rated and it either wants a longer trip or it could be a hidden danger and I think its more likely to be the former so I wont be looking at this as a potential winner.

SUMMARY:   For a class four race its on the poor side, Alhella could be dangerous if it gets an uncontested lead and is like my top two ratings a course and distance winner but im going as usual with the proven with Diamond lady being my second top rated and the most likely danger to the selection GLASTONBERRY 10/1 who is in the outside stall but it can be held up or track the pace so with a clear passage I'm hoping it proves the stronger.

Glastonberry 10/1 4th
