5:40 Pontefract Winning Racing Tips (24th July) NEW BEGINNINGS HORSES HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (3yo+ 0-70)

(FREEBIE) Henley—usually tracks the early pace and my joint fourth top rated so place claims at best..Jack Luey—has the same profile and is the other fourth joint top rated so would need help to make the frame but never say never..Groundworker—can be held up or track the leaders and comes out top on my figures from a time recorded this year at Hamilton. Native Falls—is my third top rated but either it's got some improvement to come or this distance is on the short side for it but could make the frame. Taffetta is a holdup sort but its times have been slow even when it won so not for me here. SeeVermont—needs fast ground to show its best and its best puts it into the second top spot so ought to be thereabouts at the finish if performing fully. (Dark Castle may prefer further, Davids Beauty may prefer a slower surface and Knockamany bends may not want it to be fast going) so if the going is good to firm the latter three are all horses I would look to lay if the prices are okay.

SUMMARY:- Not n easy race to analyse with no known front-runners in the field but with six of the nine being horses that like to track the pace I don't think they will race at a crawl early on, I'm hoping the selection GROUNDWORKER 9/2 can start its move slightly earlier than last time out and then with a clear run could stay on strongly for the victory.
