4:30 Lingfield Racing Tips (31st March) Sprint Handicap (Class 5) (4yo+)

racing tips
Just 8 runners in this race and 6 of them have been known to lead before so it could be a fast and furious race, Chetan has got the best draw in stall 1 if fast enough to lead but the trainer has a 1-23 record here so that's enough to put me off plus its only 4th best on course times, Spirit Of Zebedee isn't a pace setter but is my 3rd top rated but its been racing in class 6 races and I can't see the reason for this venture into class 5, Bertie Blu Boy isn't well drawn in stall 8 for a possible front runner, the trainers record is 7-54 which is ok but the jockey is 0-5 so not sure what to make of that even though it's my 2nd top rated but top spot goes to Anonymous John from stall 3 so it could lead or at least contest the lead to gain control of the rails, Dream Farr comes out top using times from Kempton and could be the one to profit if the front runners go off too fast and cut each other's throats, the trainer has a 5-23 record and the jockey 2-11 for the stable which points to them expecting a big run, so I think I will go with backing both ANONYMOUS JOHN 5/1 and DREAM FARR 3/1 to cover both angles of horses that could lead and the one that could prosper if the leaders fade nearing home.

Anonymous John 5/1 4th
Dream Farr 3/1 5th

With 14 runners over the minimum trip I would have expected to find more than 3 that like to lead and the most likely one to do best of those pace setters is Willbeme who is my 3rd top rated using course times but the trainer and jockey statistics are poor at this course, Poppy In The Wind is 4th top and is being ridden by a 5lb claimer who does well for the stable with a 2-7 record, Ambitious Icarus is 2nd top and the jockey does quite well for the stable and this one will be staying on at the finish, It Must Be Faith starts off as top rated using Wolverhampton times but the stable is 0-30 here and Orient Class is 2nd top but moves to top with its 5lb claimer allowance but is only had 1 win from 20 runners here which isn't great and its 1st ride for the jockey for this stable, so my top rated here is INDIAN PURSUIT 7/2 who has been in decent form this year with 2 second places and one win from its 3 races, the trainer has favourable statistics at this course 5-26 and the jockey 7-24 which points to them expecting another big run this time out.
