2:20 Leicester Racing Tips (29th April) Play Today Handicap (Class 4) (4yo+)

racing tips
There's only 7 runners in this race which is poor for a 6k prize money to the winner, there's not much to work with here and 5 of them have no recorded times at this distance but the 2 with ratings are both front runners, Tanasoq my 2nd top rated did its best time at this course and distance but top rated is HIGHLY SPRUNG 12/1 and if getting to the front could be hard to catch but with such limited data to work with stakes will be kept low.

Highly Strung 12/1 3rd

With 13 runners this class 2 race looks good on paper, there's 4 horses which I think I can discard and my top 5 ratings are a few spots ahead the rest, Reputation 5th top, Pipers Note 4th top and George Bowen is 3rd top rated in 2nd top spot I've got the topweight Orions Bow who is making its debut for the year and may need this run for fitness, my figures put RED PIKE 16/1 in top spot who is 1 of only 2 known front-runners in the field and if setting the pace it ought to be hard to catch, the trainer has a very good 30% win ratio at this course and the jockey has a 22% win ratio for this stable so hopefully that's a pointer to connections expecting a big run in this race and it's a big enough price to go with an each-way wager.

Red Pike 16/1 7th
5:50 Wolverhampton -
Of the 9 runners Bush Warrior and Dinneratmidnight are the only 2 that have led before, the latter may not like this surface but the former could be a hidden danger especially if it gets an uncontested lead which could well do here from stall 2 and is allowed to set its own slightly slower pace, Elusivity is my 3rd top rated and a hold up type but looks better on other surfaces and at shorter trip but if its a slow pace it could make the frame, Inshaa is my 2nd top rated but has been plying its trade in 1 class lower than this recently but did run a fastish time last time out here but may be better over a longer trip, my top rated is FLECKERL 11/1 who is a hold up type and im hoping the pace is quite fast early to play into its hooves late in the race and once again the price is big enough to do an each way bet.

Fleckerel 16/1 8th
