9:20 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (8th April) Sprint Handicap (Class 5) (4yo+)

GOLD CLUB hasn't any form on this surface and the trainer is relatively new so not much data to work with but its best on a different surface wouldn't put it in my top 4 so its not for me.
NEZAR is still a maiden on the all-weather tracks after 8 runs, the jockey usually does quite well for the stable but it's not in my top 4 times.
TOP OF THE BANK is another with a jockey with good form for the stable and is my original 2nd top rated so could make the frame here.
COMPTON PARK hasn't won since August 2014 and I can't see this 10year old springing back to life here and the trainer 1-40 and jockey 1-18 have poor statistics so it doesn't look positive.
HAMISH McGONAGAIN can be held up or track the leaders and is my original 3rd top rated but a 5lb claimer moves it up the list.
TAFTEES has got a positive jockey booking 22-127 but it looks likely to be better over further and a different surface so not in my thoughts.
COMMANCHE is the only natural front-runner in the race then add on its 7lb claiming apprentice who has won his only race for the stable, the trainer is 14-88 at this course and it's my top rated.
LUCKY LODGE is my 4th top rated but hasn't run since November and usually needs a run to gain fitness and the jockey has a poor 1-60 record for the stable.
SUMMARY: The notes above say it all, my top rated COMMANCHE 8/1 is the only what I call natural front-runner in the race both the trainer and jockey have got good statistics so that points to connections expecting a big run from the horse in this race, its a small field of 8 so I'm hoping the selection from stall 6 can get to the front and then prove very hard to catch.

Commanche 12/1 6th
