1:50 Sandown Racing Tips (8th July)

Eric Winner
1:50 Sandow - Group 3 – 5 furlongs – 11 runners
What a fantastic looking sprint and I've got 5 horses all rated within a 2lb range, Alpha Delphinin, Mirza and Battaash are my co 3rd top rated horses and all 3 of them have been known to lead before so it should be a fast run race but just one pound better I have joint top rated horses in Gracious John and Line Of Reason who will both be trying to stay on strongly at the finish. With 5 horses rated this close just one very minor setback could make all the difference but LINE OF REASON 14/1 being my joint top rated and has won its last 2 races so is in form and at the price might be worth a small each-way wager.

Line Of Reason 14/1 7th 3:25 Beverley - Class 4 – 5 furlongs – 16 runners
Tarboosh is 3rd top and usually tracks the leaders and stall 6 is ok. BOSHAM 18/1 is 2nd top just 1 lb below the top rated and has a good 3lb claiming apprentice on board and a possible pacesetter in stall 5 so maybe worth an each-way interest. ORIENTAL RELATION 15/2 is my top rated and another possible front runner in stall 2 so could be one to be wary of.

Bosham 18/1 8th
Oriental Relation 15/2 Unp

SUMMARY: I've got 4 known front-runners in the race and 3 of them are in my top 5 ratings and if there's any bias with the draw it favours those drawn low, so I'm going with backing the 2 horses as it could be a ding dong battle between the 2 of them all the way to the line.
3:50 Haydock - Class 2 – 6 furlongs – 6 runners
MAGICAL MEMORY 6/4 is joint top rated and is usually a hold-up type and there is a known front-runner in the race so it could get a good early pace to aim at. PIPERS NOTE 7/1 is usually found tracking the leaders and does like these flatter surfaces than an undulating one.
SUMMARY: I can't split these 2 either so I'm going with backing them both to show a profit whichever one wins.

Magical Memory 13/8 1st
Piper's Note 7/1 3rd 6:40 Nottingham - Class 5 – 6 furlongs – 12 runners
Bahamian Heights is 3rd top rated and a possible front runner and should like this course. Storm Melody is 2nd top and usually tracks the early pace setters and keeps on strongly RELATED 9/1 is my top rated and a possible front runner but the only negative is that its drawn in stall 1 but I do have it quite a few spots ahead of the 2nd best so if it gets near to front or actually leading I think it ought to be very hard to catch and it has decent trainer and jockeys stats which hopefully points to connections expecting a big run in this race.
