3:40 Pontefract Winning racing Tips (12th July) Handicap

Horse Racing Tips
3:40 Pontefract - Class 3 – 6 furlongs – 11 runners
Tavener is 3rd top rated from a time recorded at Thirsk last year so could make the frame Cool Bahamian 2nd top rated and will be staying on strongly at the finish of the race, the trainer has a 1-5 record here and the jockey a 17% win rate for the stable. MISHAAL 16/1 is top rated and a versatile type of horse and that does include front-running and the trainer has a good 3-10 record at the course.
SUMMARY: My top rated did its best time of this course but it was last year but did show an indication of coming into form when 2nd last time out at Ripon and hopefully their tactics will be to try and lead all the way here just as they did when winning the race over this course and distance last year.

Mishaal 25/1 2nd 2:25 Wolverhampton - Class 5 claimer – 6 furlongs – 9 runners
Louis Vee is 4th top rated and could be the one to set the pace so dangerous with an easy lead and the jockey is 1-2 for the stable. Pushkin Museum is 3rd top rated but the jockey is 0-3 and keeps finding 1 or 2 horses too good for it but could make the frame. Elusivity is 2ndd top rated but struggles a bit at this distance if its a fast early pace but this race might be run to suit it so could make the frame DREAM ALLY 9/1 is my tip top rated and its apprentice moves it further clear and he's got a 2-5 record for the stable so the booking looks a positive move.
SUMMARY :- I expect Louis Vee to set the pace but is out in stall 8 which isn't ideal so the race is open to something close to the rails changing their usual style and trying to go from the front but I'm hoping Louis Vee does cut across to the rails which will allow my selection to follow it across and get a good prominent early position and then stay on the stronger at the finish.
NR: Dream Ally
PS..Wolverhampton 1.55 race has 8 of the 13 runners as 3-year-olds who could improve and it's a poor class 6 race so best left well alone. PPS there's a nice class 4 nursery 2.10 Pontefract and as long as the going is good or faster I will be quite interested in backing SHAHEEN 4/1 and I think it might be a decent price with Areen Faisal in the race who is dropped in class from its last run but I'm hoping my selection will be able to set the pace again and lead all the way.

NR: Shaheen
