3:55 Doncaster Racing Tips (5th August)

Eric Winner
There's only 5 runners but still an interesting race, Mattmu could try to lead as might Global Applause who is dropped in class for its 1st run of the year, so I'm guessing it's had some problems lately, Mr Lupton is 2nd top rated and is usually held up while GLASS OFFICE 6/1 is top rated and also down in class from last years exploits and had a run 7 weeks ago to sharpen it up but with some dangers in the field my stake will be kept fairly low.

NR: Glass Office
Ninjago 4th best and usually held up. Meshardal 3rd best and likes to track the leaders Bogart 2nd best but may find this trip too far if there's a fast early pace.

SUMMARY: with 2 known front runners I'm hoping the race goes against my 2nd top rating so I'm hoping the selection THE COMMENDATORE 15/2 can lead from stall 8 and lead all the way for victory and the trainer and jockey stats are reasonable so nothing to put me off.

The Commendatore 9/1 6th
For a class 4 race there's a poor turnout but I've got the versatile Market Choice as my 2nd best but my top rated is the 3-year-old HEE HAW 13/8 who could attempt to lead all the way in this small field and the trainer has a reasonable 16% win ratio and the jockey a 15% win rate for the stable so it points to them expecting it to go well.

Hee Haw 5/2 6th
A shame there's only a turnout of 7 for this class 3 race, I think Soie D'Leau is the most likely leader and 3rd best on my figures, Henley is 2nd best and usually tracks the leaders while my top rated is ALPHA DELPHINI 11/10 who is very versatile with its running style, the trainer has a just about ok strike rate of 11% while the jockey has a 15% win rate for the stable so hopefully that's a good pointer to its chances.

Alpha Delphini 15/8 2nd
