7:15 Chelmsford Racing Tips (28th September)

DIAMOND LADY hasn't any recent distance form as it looks to need further on a fast surface to show its best and its last run was on soft going so I doubt it will be able to win here.
MAJESTIC HERO hasn't any form on this surface, has done a decent time at Wolverhampton and a good time on turf, in fact, my 3rd top on grass so I couldn't dismiss this one offhand but I'm not sure if it can win the race but may make the frame.
BASHIBA hasn't run on the all-weather before and its times on grass are nothing special so will need to improve a lot to win this race but has been running fairly well lately and this is only the 5th horse that the trainer has sent here in the last 5 years and he's had, 2 winners but the jockey has ridden this horse twice before without winning so I'm not sure what to say but I won't be backing it to win here.
NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM is my 2nd top rated on the course and distance times but that is using a time recorded in 2016 and it's not done as well so far this year so maybe this isn't its time and stall 12 won't help its cause.
OH SO SASSY is my 2nd top rated on turf times but its form on this course has been quite poor, it does like to finish fast but will need some luck from stall 10, it has won on this surface at Kempton and Lingfield but that's going back before 2016 and not for me in this race.
MONUMENTAL MAN is 3rd best on course times and a possible pacesetter but I'm not sure from stall 7 its fast enough to get out and across to the rail but could make the frame with a clear run.
ALSVINDER has only produced slow times on the all-weather and on turf so I'm not sure if it's capable of getting involved in the finish here.
MERRY BANTER is a front-running 3year old coming from stall 5 and it has done a time on turf to put it in top spot but it hasn't run at this course before but if taking to it it would certainly be a contender here.
ROYAL MEZYAN hasn't any form on this surface at this distance but did a very fast time at Newcastle so it may not like this surface as much and its turf times are not as good as some of the others but has got the prime draw and has been known to lead but if not getting the lead and control of the rails it may struggle.
ROCK OF AMERICA is a 3year old who has a time that makes it 4th top on course times but they are quite a few spots behind the top rated so will need to improve to win this but is still young enough to improve so never say never but it's not for me.
DESERT SPORT has got sort of average times on the grass but still needs more to be competitive in this race but it is still only 3 years old but I will stick with the proven.
FAST ACT is my top rated from it only run at this course and distance in its last race of 2016 its form this year on grass hasn't been great but after 6 runs it should be fit enough to do itself justice now switched back to this surface, with the trainer having a 25% win rate at this course and the jockey having a 17% win rate for this stable it all looks positive.
SUMMARY: A nice race and half the field have been known to lead before so it should be a fast run race with a scramble to get to the front, I'm hoping my selection FAST ACT 14/1 can either lead or at least get a good early position from stall 8 and enjoy the switch back to an all-weather surface which suits it better than grass and it looks like connections are expecting a big run here and despite being the bottom weight its last win was in this class of race and at the price I will be going with an each way investment.

Fast Act 14/1 9th
