7:45 Newcastle Racing Tips (29th September)

This is a very poor race with just 2 that have been known to lead before and they are drawn close to each other in stalls 2 and 4 so maybe a low draw will help in this race but not guaranteed as neither of the 2 possible leaders are in my top 4 ratings, Athollblair Boy is my 3rd top rated but I'm not sure about the jockey booking as its 0-12, which is for the win part only so it could make the frame, in 2nd spot is ROUND THE ISLAND 12/1 who usually likes to track the leaders and the trainer has a 21% win rate here and the jockey is 1-4 for the stable which points to them expecting a big run here but in top spot is DUKE COSIMO 10/1 who can be held up or track the leaders and its in stall 1 so should get a good early tow into the race, I will go with backing them both each way to make a profit whichever one does the business but stakes will be kept on the low side as the race won't take much winning.

Duke Cosimo 10/1 3rd
Round The Island 12/1 9th
Of the 14 runners 5 of them are 3year olds who could still improve, Jebel Tara and Archie Stevens have been known to lead if needs be but won't need to in this race, neither are in my top 4 so maybe won't be involved here, Jorvik Prince is a possible pacesetter but its final times have been quite slow which leaves me with WILLBEME 20/1 as the most likely horse to set the pace and being my top rated on course and distance times it could prove hard to catch for most of these, CANFORD BAY 10/1 is my 2nd top rated and this 3year old usually likes to track the leaders and ought to get a decent tow into the race with the pair drawn either side of it but the trainers record here is a quite poor 1-50, the jockey is having his 1st ride for the stable so I'm not quite sure what to expect, IMPERIAL LEGEND 9/1 is my 3rd top rated on course and distance times but comes out top using turf times and the trainer has a good 14% win rate here and the jockey is 2-9 for this stable so it looks a positive booking, I will be backing all 3 each way in this race but probably tipping mostly in favour of Imperial Legend but I won't be going in with mega stakes.

Canford Bay 10/1 1st

Willbeme 20/1 5th
Imperial Legend 9/1 9th
