2:55 Lingfield Racing Tips (3rd March)

Lingfield Racing Tips
I've split the bottom 4 into horses to lay and the top 4 all have some degree of a chance to win. Boom The Groom would be my 4th choice then I cant really split the top 3, ATLETICO 9/4 has the best speed figure but it wasn't on this surface but with the trainers record here and the jockeys 23% win rate for the stable it makes it look as though connections think it will go well, I've got ROYAL BIRTH 11/1 and ENCORE D’OR 4/1 as joint top rated using c/d times, the former would be very dangerous if getting away quickly and getting control on the rails and i will tilt in favour of this one with covering bets on the other two.

Encore D'Or 4/1 1st
Atletico 9/4 2nd
Royal Birth 11/1 4th

Billy's Boots, Roy's Legacy and Popsilca are the likely pace setters and they are all in my top 4 ratings although Popsilca’s time was recorded at Kempton its only done a slow time here and the jockey is 0-9 which both put me off but I'm hoping the fast early pace plays into the hoofs of BLASTOFMAGIC 5/4 who has got the stall 1 draw and it likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish.

NR: Blastofmagic
A lot will be decided by the makeup of this race, Bahamian Heights in stall 1 has been known to lead but the jockeys 1-72 record for the stable puts me off, so if this one doesn't try to lead it could leave the way open for Major Valentine from stall 4 to gain control on the rails and then it ought to prove hard to catch but its best time came at Kempton and it will be challenged for that position by Dark Side Dream who is making its debut over this c/d but another with a Kempton time puts it in the mix I think they might set the race up for if EXCELLENT GEORGE 3/1 can get a clear run from stall 7 it can stay on strongly to pick them up at the finish, I think the winner ought to come from the 3 mentioned with chances and maybe the race needs dutching to make sure of a profit but I will tilt in favour of the selection.

Excellent George 7/2 1st
Quite a hard race to call with one or two that could be hidden dangers but as usual I will stick the proven, The Lacemaker has got good trainer/jockey stats but I'm still doubtful it can win but I've only got 1 race over this c/d to work with, Mr Potter has done a good time but seems better in a lower class race and this race might not be run to suit its style of wanting a fast earlypace to aim at, so the 3 with the best chances seem to be the 3 at the top of the handicap. Pulsating is 3rd top and has good trainer/jockey stats and from stall 2 ought to be able to get a good position on the rails just behind the leaders from which to attack, Desert Fox also has good stats and will look to get a good early position from which to stay on at the finish from but if BERNIES BOY 5/1 from stall 3 gets its own way in the lead, there's no other “known” front runners, it will be very hard to catch and the 5lb claiming apprentice who has a 15% win rate for this stable puts right in the mix and I do think the apprentice is well suited to riding front running types.

Bernies Boy 5/1 2nd
