4:00 Brighton Racing Tips Ask The Guru 9/1 (11th June)

Horse racing news
BRIGHTON 4.00
A poor turnout of 5 runners. I think both Tawaafoq and Everkyllachy are better over further. The top two in the handicap are quite closely matched so I'm not sure which one will finish 2nd as I truly expect ASK THE GURU 9/1 to lead from start to finish here. He may be rated just 56 on the official ratings but the jockey has a good strike rate (8-22) booking points to them expecting a big run here. This horse is trained by Michael Attwater and ridden by David Egan. Definitely one to take note of and worthy bet.

DAPPER MAN 83 LEXINGTON PLACE 81 FOXTROT KNIGHT 76
Of the 9 runners i have got 4 marked down as definite lay bets, top weighted Foxtrot Knight doesn't want the going to be too fast so might not have its ideal ground, LEXINGTON PLACE 15/2 is my 2nd top rated and looks to be the most likely pace setter in this race and with an uncontested lead it could prove to be dangerous the only downside is the conformation of the course which might not suit it as its best form has been shown on courses with none or very little undulations so it might set the race up for DAPPER MAN 5/2 who is in very good form lately and has a good chance here to achieve a hattrick, the only reason I've put 2 selections in the race is because the trainers record here is 0-22 but I'm hoping the trainer has sent this horse here to break his duck and the 7lb claiming apprentice does quite well for the stable and that 7lb could tip things in its favour.
