2:00 Pontefract Racing Tips (2nd July)

Horse racing tips
PONTEFRACT 2.00 (8.4)
I've found 2 possible pace setters and Highly Sprung is 3rd top rated and could make the frame, Gold Hunter is 2nd top and always looks as though further would suit it better while I've got the 3 year old CAMEO STAR 4/1 who shot into form last time out and has been found a good opportunity to follow up here.

Cameo Star 11/2 3rd
PONTEFRACT 3.00 (8.4)
Apart from Rebel Assault I cant see anything else that likes to set the pace but this distance is usually too far for it unless its allowed a very soft lead and can set a slow early pace, my top rated is MAUREB 16/1 who can track the leaders or be held up and at the price has to be an ew bet, the fly in the ointment could be BAMBINO LOLA 7/4 favourite a 3 year old who indicated to a return to for when 3rd last time out its my 3rd top rated and could easily improve this year, Silver Starlight, another 3 year old, is 2nd top on a time from 2017 but has been well below that so far this year, betting wise I will have to back both selections.

Bambino Lola 7/4 1st
Maureb 33/1 3rd
HAMILTON 7.15 (7.4)
Only 6 runners, I've discounted Pavers Pride and Minty Jones despite them being the 2 of the 3 possible pacemakers, Alsvinder is 3rd top and Big Lachie 2nd top and both like to track the leaders but top spot is occupied by the 3 year old FUNKADELIC 7/1 who is the 3rd possible front runner an if getting to the front should prove hard to catch.

Funkadelic 10/1 3rd

WINDSOR 7.30 (7.5)
There's only 5 runners but whats going to win has me baffled, Maakaasib is the only known front runner but hasn't run on g/fground at this distance before, Tupi may want either a fast early pace or a longer trip but still comes out 2nd best while Gracious John will find this trip too far if they do set a fast pace, Double Up is 3rd top just 2lbs below 2nd spot but this one is another that doesn't want a fast pace if its to see out the trip, Ice Age 9/4 is top rated and will be staying on strongly at the finish, it could be a muddling affair so i think the race is best left alone especially as my top rated is so short priced.
