5:35 Lingfield Racing Tips (4th October)

Winning Racing Tips

Roundabout Magic not in my top 3 and this isn't its favourite surface, Aaliya a 3-year-old who could improve but may need further to show its best, Krystallite hasn't shown much at all recently speed-wise even when it won 3 runs ago, Secret Agent could be a definite hidden danger and a reason to make my stakes lower than the normal level, Mercers is just outside my top 3 so would need others to falter to even make the frame, STAFFA 9/2 is my top rated and can be held up or track the leaders and ought to be staying on strongly at the finish, ROY'S LEGACY 16/1 is my 2nd top rated and a front-runner so it could be dangerous if it does get to the front and then be hard to catch, Prominna is my 3rd top rated so could make the frame, Skip to My Lou is another 3 year old this ones making its handicap debut so another reason to keep my stakes on the low side….

SUMMARY: There's a few here that have been known to lead before so it should be a fast early pace, if Roys Legacy gets to the front it could prove hard to catch, so i will have a smaller bet on this one just in case, if they go off too fast up front and fade they could well play into the hooves of STAFFA 9/2 who ought to be staying on strongly at the finish but there is a couple of potentially hidden dangers in the field so stakes will be kept on the low side.

Roy's Legacy 16/1 4th
Staffa 8/1 7th

There's a lot of early pace in this race but I've only got 4 horses that have recorded a fast enough time to register this year or last year, Compas Scoobie hasn't run here before and would need to improve on its best time figure from Lingfield (the same surface) but is usually staying on at the finish of a race as does Agueroo my 2nd top rated who is normally held up for a late run but is stuck out wide in stall 10, Roys Dream is 3rd best and a possible front-runner so it could do enough to hold onto a place but my top rated is the top-weighted 3 year old MISTY SPIRIT 15/2 who won 3 runs ago where it led all the way and could repeat that here, admittedly it isn't well drawn in stall 8 but the stable has employed Luke Morris to ride which looks a good pointer as he has a 21% win rate when riding this stables 3-year-olds.

Misty Spirit 33/1 8th
