5:45 Kempton Racing Tips (2nd November)

I've only got Poppy May marked down as a possible pacesetter and on a Chelmsford time comes out 3rd best so could be dangerous if allowed a soft lead but it hasn't raced here before, Lamrei has a good time from Wolverhampton which is a different surface and is 0-19 which is off-putting, another horse with no course form MR POTTER 13/2 has my highest speed figure but again taken from Chelmsford and if able to reproduce that time here could win cosily but there are doubts so stakes won't be at full strength.

Mr Potter 8/1 2nd

KEMPTON 8.45 Div1

A strange race in many ways with just 2 known front-runners I can see the topweight THE LACEMAKER 5/2 going well here and could be hard to catch if getting to the front, if CASTLEREA TESS 8/1 can reproduce its best Wolverhampton time here it would be at least competitive and also has a fast time on good to firm going on grass, my top rated is CHARLIE ALPHA 5/1 who is an 8 run maiden but its best time was recorded last time out at Chelmsford which is the same surface just racing right-handed instead of left and a repeat of that time sees it winning this race.

The Lacemaker 100/30 1st
Charlie Alpha 7/1 9th
Castlerea Tess 10/1 Unp

KEMPTON 9.15 Div2

In this 2nd division I can discount the bottom 5 in the handicap, then I've got Soar Above and Spanish Star as potentially hidden dangers that could improve looking form from elsewhere, Jeopardy John is the only known front-runner in the race but only comes out 5th best but could do enough to make the frame if allowed an easy lead, Artscape is 4th best and always races as though further would suit it better and may stay on too late to make the frame unless others falter, although Swiss Cross won last time out it was a slow run affair and its best time was recorded in 2017 and its my joint 2nd top rated along with Kraka but this ones best time came from Chelmsford and hasn't run here before so it could still go well as its only 1lb below the top-rated AVON GREEN 11/2 who is usually held up for a late run and can go one better than its 2nd place finish last time out.

Avon Green 12/1 4th
