2:20 Lingfield Racing Tips (28th December)

LAUBALI a 3-year-old that has ran here once with a poorish effort and until I'm proved wrong I think it doesn't really like this surface so not for me here and a lay at 13/2.

BERNIES BOY is the most likely leader from stall 2 and a time recorded at Kempton would give it a good chance to lead all the way but has only produced slow times here previously but isn't bad value at 8/1.

TAN always runs as though a longer trip would suit it better, it went off last time out as hot favourite and stayed on that day to finish 3rd at Southwell and may stay on too late again here on this much faster surface so a lay at 4/1.

MIRACLE GARDEN hasn't run for a year now and may need this run for fitness and will maybe better when dropped back to 5 furlongs when fully fit so a lay at 10/1.

HIGHLAND ACCLAIM has a time from this year which would only put it in 5th top spot but its best from 2017 would see it top rated so not sure what to expect today but 12/1 is an each-way price.

LETMESTOPYOUTHERE comes out joint 2nd top on this years c/d times but from stall 8 it might need a degree of luck to make the frame here and 14/1 is an each-way price.

HOLLANDER hasn't any form over this surface and distance but some runs over 7 furlongs would suggest this trip will suit so could be a hidden danger in this race at 8/1.

PORTO FERRO is the other joint 2nd top rated on this years c/d times despite this not looking to be its favoured surface but could possibly make the frame at 16/1.

GLOBAL HUMOUR hasn't got any c/d form to work with and its a versatile type with its racing tactics and other form makes me think it could be a danger in this race and the bookies are taking no chances pricing it at 9/2.

WOTADOLL is well weighted on its best times but its 2 recent wins came in class 6 races and didn't quite manage to make the frame in a class 4 race and dropped back to class 5 here I'm not surprised to see it as the 7/2 favourite.

SUMMARY: I could probably narrow it down to 3 selections but I would still have 2 others, Hollander and Global Humour that could be hidden dangers, of the 3 selections Highland Acclaim has the fastest time figure but from last year, Bernies Boy could be dangerous if allowed to set its own pace but I would probably go with WOTADOLL 7/2 as a tentative selection but the price is a bit skinny, I do think the winner will come from the 5 mentioned in this summary.

Wotadoll 7/2 9th
