5:15 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (17th December)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.15

Div1

In this 1st division I can find 6 of the 12 runners that I will be happy to lay if the price is right, the two 3-year-olds at the bottom of the handicap could possibly make the frame but not possibly enough for me to back them each way though, that leaves 5 that have some degree of a chance of winning or at least make the frame, Fast Track is 2nd best using a 2017 time from here but hasnt run here recently and hasnt been in good form either but the trainer has a decent 16% win rate at this track, A Sure Welcome has joint top rated figure using this years c/d times but is a few pounds shy using 2017 times, Equally Fast is usually held up for a late run and is the other joint top rated using 2018 figures, Oriental Relation is top rated using last years figures, the trainer has a 15% win rate here and a possible pacesetter from stall 3 but it would need to bounce back to form to win this race, Our Man In Havana is another possible pacesetter from stall 5 and the 3lb claiming apprentice could swing this in its favour.

SUMMARY: I've mentioned 5 runners and I think the winner will come from them but there are 4 other 3-year-olds in the race that could still improve, betting wise I will look to dutch all 5 of them but maybe favouring the last mentioned 3 year old OUR MAN IN HAVANA 11/2 at the price I was expecting more like 3/1 favourite.

Our Man In Havana 8/1 7th

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.45

Div2

This 2nd division looks a little bit clearer but there's nothing I can discount 100% which is worrying, TURANGA LEELA 11/2 is a possible pacesetter and my 3rd top rated so could be very dangerous if allowed to set its own pace and then kick on off the bend, AGUEROOO 5/1 is my 2nd top rated and from stall 2 it could get to the rails and a good position from which to attack late on also the booked jockey has a 2-9 record for this stable which is hopefully a good pointer, my top rated is SPENNY'S LASS 8/1 and the trainer has a decent record at this track but stall 10 might not be ideal in the make-up of this race but if getting a clear run it should go well and would maybe the sole selection if drawn better.

Turanga Leela 9/1 1st
Spenny's Lass 5/1 4th
Aguerooo 9/1 8th
