2:10 Lingfield Racing Tips (2nd March) Ask The Guru Shackled N Drawn

Free horse racing tips (Karl Burke)

A decent race for a class 6 affair and its fairly tight near the top of my ratings, Shackled N Drawn is 4th top rated at 84 this one's advantage is that it did its best time this year, then I've got joint 2nd top rated horses in Hurricane Alert and Roys Legacy rated 85 but those times were from 2018 as was the time for my top rated Ask The Guru and this one has a good chance as its the most likely one to lead, so I will go with 2 each way bets in the race on SHACKLED N DRAWN 8/1 and ASK THE GURU 16/1.

Shackled N Drawn 8/1 6th
Ask The Guru 16/1 8th

This class 2 affair looks like a cracking race, to watch and maybe not for betting in, I've got conflicting times from various tracks and most of them are from last year, Boom The Groom won the last timeout at Wolverhampton in a relatively slow run affair and may struggle with some speedier sorts on this faster surface, Harry Hurricane is well weighted on its best time from Kempton, Royal Birth looks to be the likely favourite but this one's not won in its last 16 races which put me off a little and its certainly not a value bet, my selection is VERNE CASTLE 14/1 who is an outsider and as long as all 8 runs so there are 3 places it could be the value call with each way wager.

Verne Castle 14/1 7th

With my 4th top rated, Walk On Water and my 2nd top rated HUMAN NATURE 3/1 both being front runner types this should be run at a fast pace and if my 2nd best rating gets to the front it could prove hard to catch but I do have Upavon(non-runner) rated 5lbs higher, this one can be held up or track the leaders and with a clear passage could win the race but I will be backing them both to cover both angles in this race.

I can only see one known frontrunner in the field so Independence Day could be a possible danger if allowed to set its own pace and then kick off the bend, Kraka comes out 3rd best and this one likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish, DUKE COSIMO 15/2 starts off as my 2nd top rated but the apprentices claim moves it to top spot, my original top rated was AGUEROOO 8/1 who is a hold up type so will hope there's a decent early pace so the leaders are tiring as it stays on at the finish, the trainer has a decent 15% win rate here and the jockey's record is 2-5 for this stable which hopefully points to connections expecting a big run in this race.
