2:40 Kempton Racing Tips (30th March)

Eric Winner

GEORGE BOWEN 96W usually runs on at the finish and could make the frame in this race.

AEOLUS this one's times have been slow and I think it needs a slower surface than this one.

ALWASMIYA a long time off so may need the run but has very good trainer/jockey stats.

GILGAMESH looks as though this distance is too short for it to show its best.

RAUCOUS 81CD a versatile sort with its racing tactics could go well from the front here.

DESERT DOCTOR 92L-81CD in very good form and could run a big race again here.

PIPERS NOTE 92CD hasn't won in 4 attempts on aw tracks but 3 2nd places so may make the frame and could be worth an each way punt at 20/1.

UDONTDODOU 95CD this hold up sort will be looking for a clear run nearing the finish.

HADDAF 2 from 2 on the aw but both over 5 furlongs may struggle home here.

SOLDIERS MINUTE won last time out, upgraded 2 levels in this race so may not be this class at 7/2 I think its poor value and I would look to lay it.

MOON TROUBLE hasn't run on the aw before may need the run and maybe the wrong surface.

WHITEFOUNTAIN FAIRY making its aw debut and may find this distance too short.

SUMMARY: Quite a difficult race to analyse, ive marked 5 of the 12 runners as wanting this run for fitness and have a later target so I am going to discard them all, Soldiers Minute is an improving sort who has perhaps merited a chance to take on this class of race but i think it might find it out it could still run well but maybe not enough to actually win, Alwasmiya comes from a powerful stable that does well here and has a good jockey booking but its been off for over 500 days so might need this just like it has before but it cannot be discarded completely, George Bowen hasnt run here before but its best time recorded at Wolverhampton would make it 2nd top rated and the apprentices 5lb claim moves it to top spot but the stables 1-74 record here is off-putting, the trainer of my selection has a 16% win rate at this course so im hoping UDONTDODOU 18/1 can add to his tally, this one is a genuine hold up type and the cutaway on this course should help its cause as it likes to come fast and late and at the price I will be backing it each way.

Udontdodou 18/1 Unp
