4:30 Chepstow Racing Tips (24th June)

chepstow horse racing tips
CHEPSTOW 4.30

A big field of 17 runners in a relatively poor class 6 race, there is 5 of them have been known to lead before and Swanton Blue, Princely and Alfies Angel could do best of the front runners as they are in my top 7 ratings but they look likely to set the race up for a finishing type, Gold Hunter would be in the mix using its best time from 2018, Who Told Jo Jo actually comes out 1lb superior using a 2017 time but that's beginning to look a bit of a fluke time as its only win over 6 furlongs came at Brighton last year in a slow run race so looks a better horse over a shorter trip, I'm doubting this race will suit it which leaves me with JAGANORY 12/1 who recorded its best time this year at Bath, if this hold up type finds the gaps and gets a clear run it could pick up the leaders close home and a nice each way price.

This class 6 dash over the minimum trip looks a dire affair and with so many lightly raced horses its a nightmare to try and solve, I am only posting up SWENDAB 28/1 as a tentative selection because of the price, this horse is capable of bouncing back to form without warning as it did on its 2nd run of this year so may be worth a small wager, it has been known to lead all the way before and from stall 14 in a 15 runner race it could well lead here and the 7lb claiming apprentice has 3 wins to her name and all for this trainer.

WINDSOR 7.10

A nice looking class 3 affair with 3 horses that have led before and 2 of them are 3-year-olds who could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead although neither has shown much so far in their careers these young horses have been known to improve dramatically before without warning, I've got very little between Open Wide, Victory Angel and Oeil De Tigre but all of their best times were recorded in 2018 but also they could make the frame if running to their best but I've got GREEN POWER 7/1 rated a few spots higher and its 3lb claiming apprentice takes it even further clear, its best time was recorded earlier this year at Doncaster and has been running in better class races than this one and will be the one carrying my money in this race.
