An eight runner race where five of the runners are three year olds who could be capable of some improvement given time and experience so that fact alone puts me on the back foot as to know where to start looking for something substantial to point me in the right direction. As to be expected I have got recorded ratings on the Tapeta surface for three runners in this race and they are the three older horses and only ETERNAL HALO 6/1 has a recorded time of the three year olds but it was on turf at Ayr but that time was head and shoulders above anything the older horses have produced. This horse hasn't ran on an artificial surface before but if taking to the surface and can reproduce anything like its best turf rating then it would win this race a shade cosily but with another four, the other three year olds, potentially dangerous stakes have to be kept low, I will take the first show I see (6/1) and hope its backed which would hopefully point to connections expecting it to run well here, if it drifts I have guaranteed odds so if it wins I win more but as I said I wont be going in too heavily in this tricky little race.
