6:00 Chelmsford Racing Tips (27th October)

CHELMSFORD 6.00

A full house for this class 6 sprint with a couple of known front runners, Bowling Russian and Fantasy Navigator who should ensure there's a good fast early pace and if the former could reproduce its best rating from 2020 it would win this race but its form since then has been way below that figure plus the stables last winner was over 250 days ago but could possibly make the frame if others falter, I will be looking to lay Vape 11/2 who stays on over this distance but its best form comes in relatively slow run races so might be caught out here plus it has poorish jockey stats 1-17 and the jockey is 0-4 for the stable. Woe Betide 11/2 has ran ok in its last 2 races and being a 3yo it could still improve which I would need to do to win this race but never say never and I am never 100% comfortable laying a 3yo. Nubough 11/1 could do enough to make the frame here but the stable hasn't had a winner in over 2 months but the switch back to an artificial surface could see it bounce back to form so may be worth an each way punt. OUR ABSENT FRIEND 4/1 is my top rated using a time recorded on the Tapeta surface and as it hasn't run on this Polytrack surface before I am not sure what to expect but its chance has to be respected, my top rated on this surface is EPIC EXPRESS 7/1 who recorded its best time over this course and distance 2 runs ago while its last run can be ignored as it got hampered at the start of the race and was always in the rear until stayed on into 6th place beaten 3 and a half lengths which wasn't a bad run but today the stall 14 draw hasn't been kind to it but if able to find a good early position it ought to go very close to winning again here as long as its early exertions to get a good position don't take its toll nearing the finish.

CHELMSFORD 8.00

A 11 runner class 6 dash where 5 of them have been known to lead before, Glasstrees 9/2 is drawn widest of the possible pacesetters in stall 8 with other early paced types in stalls, 1,5,6 and 7 so it could either get taken wide or will have to be reigned back behind the pacesetters which isn't its preferred style so maybe worth laying just because of that but it would also need to improve a few spots time wise to win this race, Dream Game 5/1 is my joint 4th top rated and is usually held up for a late run but could find some trouble trying to find a gap in the home straight so might be worth laying the win part as it could make the frame if getting a clear run, Suanni 9/1 is the other joint 4th top rated horse but is drawn in stall 10 which could be a hindrance with the make-up of this race, Charming Kid 9/2 in stall 1 is my 3rd top rated and will be trying to gain control of the rails from the off and could just do that and I would expect it to make the frame, my top rated using a time from 2021 is SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD 9/2 so has to be considered s a potential winner and is in good form winning last time out where it beat AMASOVA 12/1 (EW) but this one is weighted to reverse that form here on 13lbs better terms. The former is in stall 7 so sandwiched between 2 other fast starters so may get squeezed out in the early stages and then maybe not able to reproduce its absolute best but if getting to the front could prove hard to catch but the jock Sean Levey is 0-14 when riding for this stable which is a little off-putting hence why I am also backing my 2nd top rated, there is only 1lb between them on their best figures and this one is in stall 6 so this time might be able to prevent the former from leading and then be able to reverse the result from last time they met 33 days ago and at the price has to be given as an each way wager.

1:30 Kempton Racing Tips (3rd September)

KEMPTON 1.30

A quite poor class 5 sprint with just 7 runners, so no each way bets, with 3 known front running types in the race First Company 8/1 might struggle to stay the distance so could be worth laying, of the possible pacesetters it looks like Enduring could do best of them especially as it has the stall 1 draw which is always a bonus for a front runner here although the cutaway nearing the finish does give a chance to a horse coming from off the pace and my money will be riding on THAKI 5/2 who is usually held up for a late run so this race could be run to suit its racing style.

Thaki 5/2 3rd -1pt

Total -1pt

ASCOT 4.55

Nine runners in this Class 2 sprint but I don't know what will set the early pace, Mums Tipple might want further to show its best so if allowed an easy lead it could make its stamina pay and pinch this race from the front, Ivasecret has poor form on turf and its speed figures on the AW have been low so it might be one to lay and hope there's a fast early gallop, if the going is good to firm then I would look to lay Silver Samurai 7/1, Lethal Nymph is my 3rd top rated but that's from lower class race and might get outclassed in class 2 races, Sound Of Iona has a good rating from Doncaster which is a completely different type of course compared to today's one, I will be putting my faith and money on SPIRITED GUEST 40/1 (EW) who recorded a rating at Yarmouth last year that puts it a few spots in hand of today's opposition but the trainer is 1-46 at this course but might be worth an each way punt if of value to do so.

Spirited Guest 40/1 5th -2pts (Very close to a mega payday)

Lay bet Silver Samuri +1pt

ASCOT 5.30

An eleven runner class 2 dash with a couple of known front runners in the field, Ventura Flame 8/1 might be outclassed at this level, both Many A Star 7/2 and Cairn Gorn 9/1 look as though a longer distance will suit them better and all 3 might be worth laying, Celsius and Readie Freddie go are my 5th and 4th top rated so could go well and might make the frame if others falter, Dubai Station recorded a rating in 2021 at Hamilton which is beginning to look a fluked time where it got towed along in a fast run race, the top weighted Get It is my 2nd top rated and has good jockey stats so might be worth backing as a covering bet but my main bet will be SWAYZE 11/1 (EW) who has a good chance here of leading all the way like it did at Yarmouth last year and a repeat would see it back in the winners enclosure, it has both good trainer and jockey stats making me think that connections are expecting it to run well here and if an each way price all the better.

Swayze 11/1 5th -2pts

Lay bets Many A Star +1pt, Cairn Gorn +1pt

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.00

A ten runner dash with six of them having been known to lead before so this could be fast and furious, Next Second 9/2 might be outclassed now raised in class but also might be an improving 3yo so maybe one to lay or maybe not, Kim Wexler 13/2 would need all the leaders to fade badly before it could win this race so maybe worth taking on with a lay bet if as usual its of value to do so, (value might vary from person to person so you will have to decide for yourself whether you think its value to lay) another 3yo Lur CinnTra 13/2 may need a longer distance to show its worth so one that could be worth laying, Bang On The Bell 10/3 is another 3yo but this one likes to front run but could get squeezed out in the early stages from stall 3 with fast runners drawn stalls 1 and 6.7.8 and 10, my money will be riding on AMASOVA 15/2 who in the make-up of this race should be able to get to the front from stall 6 and if leading could prove hard to catch and the jockey has only ridden once before for today's stable and that was a winning ride.

Amasova 15/2 6th -1pt

Lay bets Kim Wexler +1pt, Lur Cinn Tra +1pt

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30

An eleven runner dash with just Brazen Belle known as a front running type but this one prefers a longer distance but could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead but with several that like to track the leaders then the pace should be a true one, Morty and Nacho are my joint 4th top rated horses but only 1lb below The Tron in 3rd top spot and all 3 might be better over a longer distance, For Peats Sake sits in 2nd top spot but the top rated horse is *ADMIRABLE LAD 4/1 and a repeat of its best rating from 2021 would see it winning this race quite comfortably.

1:05 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (17th August)

WOLVERHAMPTON
1.05

Class 6 race over 5 furlongs with 8 runners and 2 known front runners, Red Walls 5/1 usually likes to lead and ran well last time out but would need to improve time wise to win this race but could make the frame so might be worth laying the win part only, both Street Life 11/2 and Bluebell Time 11/2 looks better prospects when racing on the Polytrack surface, Madame Fennella 3/1 may be better when racing over a longer distance and if it wasn't a 3yo I would definitely have put it forward as a lay bet, Glasstrees 6/1 has run twice over this distance on this surface and didn't produce anything worthwhile time wise, Symbol Of Hope 14/1 has had 2 runs on this surface but produced nothing of note time wise but a repeat of its best turf rating would win this race with a fair bit in hand, it isn't fancied in the betting so I will as usual stick with the proven, Duke Of Firenze 7/1 usually tries to stay on at the business end of a race and could make the frame again here but my money will be riding on the front running type AMASOVA 8/1 and if getting to the front could prove very hard to catch and the jockey has a decent 17% win ratio on the stables older horses.

5:00 Chelmsford Racing Tips (17th February)

CHELMSFORD 5.00

A class 6 apprentice jockeys race with 4 runners that have been known to lead before so it should be a true run race, I will look to lay Porfin 8/1 and *Portelet Bay 17/2 who usually stay on at the business end of their races but time wise I am not sure they can pick up the leaders, there is a few others that could be on my lay list but I think they will all be double figure prices so hence not of value to lay, its hard with these apprentice jockey races as usually there's nothing or very little stats to use to try and see whether it looks as though there connections will be trying or not, my stakes in these races are always kept lower than usual but I will be backing two horses in this race, firstly there's AMASOVA 5/1 who is my top rated using 2021/22 course and distance speed figures and is second top rated on my overall figures just behind AUTUMN TRAIL 16/1 (EW) and at the price this has to be an each way wager, they are both horses that like to race to the fore in their races and as long as they don't go heel for leather from the off and fade badly they have the ratings to hold the rest at bay to get back to winning ways.

The top three in the handicap are the natural front running types in this race and I Am A Dreamer 14/1 is rated slightly higher plus it has the stall one draw so it could go best of the trio and could even hold on to make the frame and might be worth an each way interest at the price and as I think it might even be better when racing over further its stamina shouldn't run out even if they do go off a shade too fast in the early stages of the race, Thaki 9/1 is forecast to be the second favourite in this race but I would be more interested in laying it as I think it needs further to show its best form but is double what the early tissue prices forecast .As for the winner I am looking at the John Butler stable as he has two horses entered in this race, INAAM 6/1 who finished second on its last run and MARTINEO 4/1 won last time out and either of them could win this race, they are both being ridden by apprentices but Martineo’s jockey is 0-4 for the stable while the jockey on Inaam has a poorish 6% win ratio for the stable which worries me a bit so my stakes wont be at full strength but whichever one is trying, it could be both, will need a bit of luck in running but this race being a class 5 affair wont take that much winning and I will be backing both of them because if I go with my gut and in some ways my stats and relied on just one of them I am sure to get it wrong so better something than nothing.
