6:15 Newcastle Racing Tips (15th November)

NEWCASTLE 6.15

A class 5 dash with 11 runners and 3 known front running types so it should be a true run affair. Wrenthorpe 5/1 has been known to lead but needs to improve a good few spots to win this race and will be worth a small lay at the price, Love Trophy Power 8/1 may need further to show its best form and may not catch the leaders in time for the win so maybe worth a small lay if a single figure price near the off time. Never Dark 6/1 might do best of the front running trio and could do enough to at least make the frame as its my 3rd top rated, Spanish Angel 12/1 is my top rated using its best rating from 2021 over this course and distance but hasn't managed a rating high enough to register on my figures this year so my money will be riding on GLORIOUS RIO 15/1 who likes to track the leaders and i think those drawn high have a slight advantage at this course so stall 11 should be fine.

I am never a fan of amateur jockey races, this race has 14 runners but only one known front running type but very often horses change their tactics in these races but being on a straight course then it hopefully shouldn't be too bad. I'm not sure if there will be anything of value to lay but maybe a small lay on Eligible 7/2 who races as though further might suit it better. Rory 8/1 might struggle to stay the distance with a fast early pace and will be a lay if its a single figure price at the off. The 3yo Wee Fat Mac has a rating that would put it in the mix but has poorish trainer/jockey stats but I couldn't lay it either, Global Apollo is another that could go well if its Southwell rating is to be believed but only recorded a slow time over this course and distance. DANDY'S GOLD 20/1 (EW) is my top rated using a 2021 course and distance rating but hasn't been in good form recently but it might be worth a small each way bet just in case it bounces back to form but for my main bet I will be backing SPARTAN FIGHTER 40/1 (EW) who is the one i hope will set the pace to the race and if able to reproduce its best rating from 2021 it would win this race and will have to be an each way bet at the price.

5:47 Ayr Racing Tips (17th June)

AYR 5.47

Only 6 runners but no known front runners but I have negatives against 4 of the runners and could be worth laying if of value to do so which leaves me with Run This Way 10/1 who is my 2nd top rated but is usually held up or races in midfield so this race might not be run to suit it while my money will be riding on DANDY'S GOLD 5/2 who can race in midfield or track the leaders so it ought to be able to cover any moves and the jockey has a 29% win ratio for the stable.

Nine runners with three horses that could set the pace and maybe of those three Tanasoq could do best if able to reproduce its rating from 2021 at Musselburgh, so not sure if this flatter course will suit it as well, which makes it my joint 2nd top rated. but this one can be ridden in any form of racing tactics so could be worth an each way interest, I will look to lay *Classy Al 7/1 who might prefer a longer distance and Quanah 4/1 who might not like the faster ground, the other joint 2nd top rated horse is Bridgetown and as it recorded that rating at Doncaster it should like this course, my top rated is LATIN FIVE 4/1 who won last time out and has been found an ideal opportunity to follow up that win in this race and with a fast pace the race could be run to suit it.

A 7 runner race where 4 of the runners are 3yo’s and one of those 3yo’s Thakrah could be the one to set the pace to this race but I'm not really sure what it can produce so I couldn't back or lay this one, three runners will I expect be double figure prices so not worth laying but I might take a risk and lay the 3yo Anniversary Belle 7/2 who only recorded a slow speed figure over today's distance on good ground, another 3yo Income is my 2nd top rated but this one has poor trainer stats who is 1-22 at this course, my money will be riding on AMOR DE MI VIDA 10/3 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish although I do think it will the favourite but I cannot find anything the take it on with.
