3:45 Lingfield Racing Tips (13th February)

LINGFIELD 3.45 

An 8 runner race with Lua De Mel known to have front run before but would need to improve time wise to hold on in this race, another possible pacesetter is Save The Spirit who has only a slow time from its only previous run over this c/d but a time from Newcastle, different surface, that would make it 2nd top overall so could be hard to catch if ok on this surface, Bombastic is well weighted on its best speed figure but maybe isn't quite up to winning at this level, the one that will carry my money is GARTH ROCKETT 5/1 who finished 2nd in its last run 3 weeks ago and has been found a good opportunity to go one better here, its won twice from its 4 previous c/d runs and has good trainer/jockey stats.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.15 

A nice looking class 2 race but only 7 runners, so no each way bets, Tone The Barone 2/1 is the favourite but its not proven on this surface but has won all of its 4 runs on the AW tracks and wouldn't have to improve if it can equal its best Chelmsford time and has good trainer/jockey stats, Royal Birth and Venturous also have good trainer/jockey stats so look to be expected to go well here, Nigel Nott hasn't any form on this surface and may get outclassed at this level, Lihou likes to lead and has stall 1 so it looks like it will try to lead all the way and is another that could go well but I will be taking a bit of a punt in this race by siding with LOMU 12/1 who has won both of its precious runs over this c/d and its best time, admittedly from 2019, would make it my top rated.

7:15 Chelmsford Racing Tips &Lay Bets (5th November)

CHELMSFORD 7.15 

A 8 runners for this dash round here with 3 known front runners, I will look to lay (Capla Spirit 6/1 + Lethal Angel 7/1) as I doubt this course suits either of them and are worth laying if in single figure prices, Shining has a time from Lingfield in 2019 that would make it my 2nd top rated but its only run over this c/d resulted in a slow time, Red Stripes is a possible pacesetter in stall 5 and my 3rd top rated overall but again using a 2019 time while my top rated MIAELLA 2/1 recorded its best time over this c/d this year which is always a positive and i am hoping it can lead all the way here.

CHELMSFORD 7.45 

A switch up to 6 furlongs and only one known front runner in the field but I'm not sure that it really stays the trip but if Lordsbridge Boy is allowed an easy lead it could go better than expected and if it wasn't the sole front runner i would have looked to lay it, I'm not sure if Album 5/1 will appreciate this course and looks worth laying at the odds available now, Dors Toyboy is my 3rd top rated and this 3yo could be open to some improvement, Blessed To Empress is 2nd top rated and that is on a figure recorded earlier this year but my pennies will be riding on GARTH ROCKETT 5/1 who can be held up or track the leaders and then run on strongly at the finish and has good trainer stats and even better jockey stats hopefully pointing to them expecting it to follow up from its win last time out.

12:00 Lingfield Racing Tips & Lay Bets (12th July)

LINGFIELD 12.00 

Quite a nice 10 runner race for a class 6 affair, there's a couple of horses that have been known to lead before so it should be run at a good early pace, I will look to lay (*Nautical Haven who might find this distance too short + George Thomas who needs to improve timewise and hasn't made the frame in its 6 previous AW races) Solar Park could attempt to lead but would need to improve timewise to win this race but is the short 7/4 favourite which looks poor value to me unless allowed to pinch the race from the front but I think WARRIOR'S VALLEY 10/1 2 points win, will be the one I expect to set the early pace or at least contest it and is my top rated and could prove the stronger nearing the finish and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch and does have what looks a positive jockey booking making me think the connections are expecting a big run in this race.

LINGFIELD 2.35 

This 6-furlong race is devoid of known frontrunners although the bottom weight Tavener has been known to lead if nothing else wants to but its recent form hasn't been very good form lately and isn't a prolific winner on the AW tracks and it looks best in a lower class nowadays. I will look to lay (Requited who might prefer a slower surface and a shorter trip on this faster surface + Pedestal who is 0-5 on the AW and may be better over further) Pettochside has a good time from Kempton which would make it my top-rated but that course is quite different to Lingfield where its times have been slow, sticking with those that I know can handle this course I will be backing 2 horses, GARTH ROCKET 9/2 and EQUIPPED 11/2 who both usually stay on strongly at the business end of the race and both have good trainer/jockey stats which make me think both sets of connections are expecting a big run here.
