7:15 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (19th October)

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.15

WITH CAUTION 3/1 is a 3yo who has a recorded time for this year but would need to improve to win this race but could run well but at such a short price I would lay the win part.

MACHREE 22/1 hasn't any surface form to its name and looks a better horse over 5 furlongs but not a lay at the price.

IRENE MAY 8/1 is another with no surface form and looks better over shorter trips so as long as it doesn't drift I will lay it.

DIZZY G 7/2 has a fast time from the turf on g/f ground and its the most likely pacesetter so stall 2 is just about perfect and has to be on my shortlist.

ROSE BERRY 13/2 has a time from 2018 that would put it in 2nd top spot but can struggle to stay the trip if there's a fast early pace as I'm not 100% sure how this race will pan out I could bet or lay this one.

AHAKMAH 10/1 this 3yo races as though this distance is a bit too short for it, I expect it to be staying on at the finish and could go well but hopefully not too well.

WHISPER ALOUD 7/1 this one a decent time on g/f ground but hasn't run here before and on 1 race at Newmarket on good ground holds a few of these and the trainer does well here so has to be on my shortlist.

FIZZY FEET 20/1 has only a slow time over this c/d to its name and it looks another that would be better off over a shorter trip but too big a price to lay.

LETHAL ANGEL 10/1 is my top rated on its best time from 2018 and hasn't run here so far this year, has a good trainer stat but a slightly negative jockey stat but has to be on my shortlist.

GILT EDGE 25/1 hasn't run anywhere on the AW tracks before this race, it likes to track the leaders, it predicted to be an outsider but I couldn't back or lay this 3yo especially at the price.

SUMMARY: A strange muddle of form and speed figures make this a hard race to analyse to a conclusion but I have narrowed it down to 3 candidates, Whisper Aloud holds 3 horses in this when looking strictly at their handicap ratings and form lines but it only holds Dizzy G by 1lb so virtually nothing in terms of a sprint race and this one has a time from Carlisle that would put in the mix and this could be its debut on the AW (it is entered to run Friday at this c/d) LETHAL ANGEL 10/1 is my 3rd fancy in the race and as its my top rated on a time from 2018, it hasn't run over this c/d so far this year and hinted at a return to form when finishing 4th on its 1st AW run of the year at Chelmsford a couple of weeks ago so it will be the one carrying my money in this race.

Lethal Angel 10/1 5th
