A day of 6-furlong races all half class 5 and half class 6, in this race there's 3 that I would possibly look to lay plus there's a couple of known frontrunners, Bernies Boy and Broughton Excels are my joint 4th top-rated, with Mercer's jockey claiming 7lb it could move it from 3rd top into 2nd top spot ahead of my original 2nd top-rated Perfect Symphony but the top-rated horse DREAMBOAT ANNIE 12/1 is a possible pacesetter and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch, normally stall 11 wouldn't be ideal but in the make-up of this race it ought to be ok and the apprentices 7lb claim could swing things further into its favour especially as they have a 15% win ratio on the stables older horses.

This I have to admit isn't a great race with just 4 horses having speed figures that register on my graphs, Taverner is well weighted on its best time but the jockeys 0-13 record isn't ideal and its been way off form lately, Major Assault won over c/d in a slow run affair while its best time was recorded over this trip but at Kempton, Alba Del Sole is on a 16 race losing streak and I had to go back to Kempton in 2017 to find this ones best time, that leaves me backing the topweight GRIGGY 2/1 who won last time out and this 3yo has been found a very good opportunity to follow up in this race plus the jockey has a good record for this stable.
