5:15 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (24th October)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.15

EQUALLY FAST 25/1 may need this run for fitness as it is its 1st race of 2019 and doesn't usually win 1st time out after a break and the price points to it not winning here.

DARK SIDE DREAM 10/1 has form at this distance but in slow run affairs and its best time from 2015 would still see it fall short of winning this race if it goes to a single figure price I would look to lay the win part.

ANGEL FORCE 16/1 I'm not sure this is its favoured surface but it has done a time that could see it being competitive but would need to improve to win here but too biga price to lay for me.

AMOR KETHLEY 9/2 this 3yo runs as though further would suit it better so should be staying on at the finish but maybe too late and I would be tempted to lay it at the price.

LONGROOM 6/1 is 2nd best on my c/d figures for this year but it is held by my selection on a recent run this year and should make the frame if repeating that run but whether it can win I'm not sure.

RED INVADER 14/1 it won this year over this c/d but it was a slow run affair and looks as though further would suit it better so I doubt it will win this race hence the big price.

SHEPHERD'S PURSE 3/1 won over this c/d last time out and is top-rated on this year c/d times likes to track the leaders so should be able to get a good early position from stall 1 which is reflected in the skinny price.

GREAT SUSPENSE 9/2 hasn't any form over this c/d but has a time from Newcastle that would make it my top-rated so this 3yo could go very well here and did run ok here over 6 furlongs.

CORONATION COTTAGE 14/1 hasn't any c/d form to its name and races as though a longer distance would be better for it so not for me here but too big a price to lay.

KATHS LUSTRE 14/1 has only slow times over this distance, it may need further to blossom and its recent form has been quite poor but again too big to lay.

AQUADABRA 8/1 has won over this c/d but it was a slow run affair and in truth, I'm not convinced this is its best surface so one to leave alone and a lay as long as it doesn't drift in the betting.

SUMMARY: Theres plenty of early pace on parade in this dash so the draw could be important, Coronation Cottage from stall 2 could gain control of the rails with stalls 4, 6, 8, 9 and 10 also having been known to lead before but you certainly wouldnt want to be going 6 deep round the bends as you would lose a lot of ground but I think the frontrunners could be setting the race for something coming from off the pace, SHEPHERD'S PURSE 3/1 from stall 1 could get a good position on the rails just behind the leaders so the makeup of this race might play into its hands and it will be carrying some of my money, *GREAT SUSPENSE 9/2 has a time from Newcastle that makes it my top rated and it did ok here over 6 furlongs before weakening so this drop to 5 furlongs should suit it and to be honest if it was better drawn than on the widest draw of all it would probably have been my only selection but even so it will be carrying the larger amount of my money in this race hoping it gets a clear run when needed.

Shepherd's Purse 3/1 3rd
