GLOBAL WARNING 11/4 has won its only previous c/d run and could have a positive looking apprentice jockey booking, it has been known to lead but time wise it will need to improve to hold on for the win.
SPARTAN FIGHTER 4/1 has average trainer/jockey stats but has a decent c/d time which was recorded this year which is a positive, it usually tracks the leaders and is 4th top on my figures.
KIND REVIEW 5/1 comes out 3rd best on overall speed figures and is usually held up or runs in the middle of the field, it has just a bit above average trainer/jockey stats and I would perhaps have backed it each way if there was 3 places up for grabs.
STORM OVER 4/1 the trainer has a 11% win ratio with their older horses while the jockey has a 36% win record again on older horses which makes me think they are expecting it to follow up here and is top rated on my figures.
GIOGIOBBO 14/1 is the other in the race that's has been known to lead and time wise its got a better rating but that's only good enough for 4th top spot also it no wins, no places from its 3 previous c/d runs.
DEVIL'S ANGEL 9/1 has decent jockey stats and average trainer stats but time wise its got to improve a few pounds but has won one c/d race from the 3 its ran in.
ATHOLLBLAIR BOY 8/1 has quite poor trainer stats but has won 4 of its 18 previous c/d races, it has a time from 2019 that would make it my top rated but has been 18lbs below that level since then.
SUMMARY: The only older horse handicap sprint for the day and just 7 runners, I like at least 8 in case i find an each way wager, I expect Giogiobbo will do best of the front running pair and could go well from the front if allowed an easy lead but I'm doubtful it can win and I will go with STORM OVER 4/1 hoping it can follow up its win from last time out eleven days ago.
