6:30 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (19th March)

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.30

LORD RIDDIFORD 11/2 a front running type who could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead but it needs to improve time wise to win this race if others run to their best.

MAY SONIC 3/1 usually runs on at the business end of its races over this distance but also needs to improve time wise to win this race but this is only its 2nd run on the Tapeta surface so could still have more to come.

TONE THE BARONE 11/8 comes out top on my figures and would be the winner on known form but there looks to be some hidden dangers but it will be trying to stay on strongly nearing the finish.

HIGHFIELD PRINCESS 10/3 hasn't run over this distance on the All-Weather courses most of its form has been over 7 furlongs so i thought it might get outpaced here but its dropped down quite a lot in class so I'm not sure what to expect.

ALLIGATOR ALLEY 12/1 has only ran twice on an All-Weather surface but all its runs to date have been in Ireland and has raced in higher class races and is a distance winner so another that I'm not quite sure what to expect.

WATER OF LEITH 50/1 is a much better prospect when racing over a longer distance and looks out of its depth in this class of race because I think it might be better than a class 3 affair, I do expect it to be the outsider of the field.

SUMMARY: There's only Water Of Leith that can be completely ignored in this race, Lord Riddiford could be dangerous with a soft lead but maybe not enough to win this race if others run to their best while May Sonic will be running on but maybe too late to win the race and maybe laying one of them or both is the way to make a profit from this race. Tone The Barone would do best of those that I have form for over this distance on this surface if reproducing its best rating it would win cosily and would be may selection if it wasn't for the possible hidden dangers and represents poor value at 11/8. Both Alligator Alley and Highfield Princess have been running in better company but he former in Ireland and I'm not sure how good or bad this ones form is while the latter has been known to lead but its only had one run over 6 furlongs and the rest have been over further but will class prevail that is the question so maybe dutching the three is the way to go and I will suggest either dutching Tone The Barone 11/8, Highfield Princess 10/3 and Alligator Alley 12/1 or go with laying May Sonic 3/1 who might might prefer a longer distance, I've not highlighted anything I will leave the final decision up to yourself, I personally will leave the race alone.
