3:38 Lingfield Racing Tips (6th June)

LINGFIELD 3.38

LILKIAN comes out on top on my figures and the apprentice jockeys 7lb claim will help its cause as he has a 60% strike rate on the stables older horses and the trainer has a 33% strike rate with their older horses here.

TYGER BAY is usually held up for a late run and comes out in third top spot and may not be able to catch those ahead of it in this race.

WISEACRE is making its handicap debut so if the stable have been trying to get a low rating which they can exploit when it goes handicapping so it could be dangerous in this race.

ALGHEED is the only “known” front runner in the race but even if it does lead I don't expect it to be there when they reach the finishing line. As it has quite a few spots to find time wise to win here.

MOBARHIN is usually tracking the leaders and then stays on at the finish and as its my 2nd top rated horse it could go well and has good trainer/jockey stats.

SUMMARY: If as I expect Alghhed sets the pace it will ensure that it is a true run race, I doubt it will win the race but I'm not confident enough to lay it, Wiseacre is the tricky one in the race making its handicap debut but again I couldn't lay it with any confidence but also couldn't back it, Mobarhin is my 2nd top rated and I might have a covering bet on this horse as trainer/jockey stats make me thing connections think it can win but I think the connections of LILKIAN 11/4 are also expecting to win and is my top rated and will be carrying my money.

LINGFIELD 4.48

DUKE OF FIRENZE can either track the leaders or run in midfield but time wise it needs to improve a good few spots to win this race but expect it will be an outsider.

TRIBUTO this one also needs to improve time wise to win this race but that's because this one races as though a longer distance would suit it better.

HEY HO LET'S GO has good trainer and jockey stats and usually likes to track the leaders and the apprentice jockeys 3lb claim could sway things its way.

MORTY likes to be covered up in midfield and then stay on strongly at the finish but would need to improve time wise to even make the frame so not for me.

WINGS OF A DOVE is one of two known front running types in this race and being my third top rated horse it could go well from the front and could make the frame and if given an easy lead it could be dangerous.

STORM MELODY is my top rated but only just, it likes to track the leaders but hasn't been in the best of form recently, if reproducing its best could get back to winning ways.

EQUALLY FAST is the other known front running type in the race but time wise it would need to improve to win this race but its best was recorded here so that's a bonus.

HARBOUR STORM this horse hasn't any distance form to its name on the All-Weather tracks and this very fast five furlong race might be too short for it and it might be of value to lay.

SUMMARY: Wings Of A Dove and or Equally Fast could set the pace to this race but I doubt either can stay there for the victory but never say never especially if one of them is allowed an easy lead, I will look to lay Tributo if its a single figure price and also Harbour Storm as both might be better racing over further, there is very little between HEY HO LET'S GO 4/1 and STORM MELODY 10/1 (EW), the former is my 2nd top rated but has the better trainer/jockey stats while the latter would probably be my sole bet if it had shown some better form in its last few races, so I will have to go with backing them both with one win bet and an each way wager on the bigger priced selection.

Storm Melody 20/1 3rd -2pts
Hey Ho Let's Go 13/2 7th -1pt

Total -3pts

Total on the day -4pts
