3:28 Beverley Racing Tips (2nd July)

BEVERLEY 3.28

A typical Saturday class 4 handicap which is super competitive and to cap it all there's no known front running types in the race and I was going to leave this race alone but looking at the early tissue prices I saw that SOUL SEEKER 20/1 EW was forecast to be a 14/1 shot and if that is the case then it has to be worth an each way punt because if it can reproduce its best speed figure recorded in 2021 at Hamilton it would win this race so an each way punt will hopefully pay dividends and at an even bigger price than forecast I cannot let it run without some sort of a bet on it.

Soul Seeker 22/1 7th -2pts

Total -2pts

SANDOWN 5.20

The 2, King Of Stars 12/1 and Mines A Double 5/1 are the 2 known front runners in the race and come out in joint 5th top spot on my figures so will be setting the race up for something attacking later on in the race and the latter might be worth laying at the price, Just Glamorous 7/1 might be worth laying if a single figure price at the off as it doesn't seem to like good to firm ground so I will only know for sure when I've watched an earlier race to see for myself what the going is like as there are plenty of showers forecast all over the country at times, Autumn Flight and Fantasy Master can produce good speed figures but in lower class races or on genuinely good ground, my money will be riding on LIVE IN THE MOMENT 9/1 who has been running in better class races than this one and likes to track the leaders before staying on the stronger at the finish.

Live In The Moment 9/1 8th -1pt

Lay bets King Of Stars +1pt, Mines A Double +1pt

Total +1

Total on the day -1pt

CARLISLE 5.50

A 10 runner class 5 apprentice jockeys handicap with 2 front running types and a 3rd, Corinthia Knight 10/3 that can lead if needs be so perhaps it wont try those tactics in this race and time wise it might not be able to lead if it wanted to as it can struggle to stay the distance with a fast early pace and if a single figure price I will look to lay it another I will look to lay is Somewhere Secret 10/3 who doesn't appear to like the faster going so as long as it doesn't rain I don't think it can win this race, Danzan 9/2 my 3rd top rated and Redrosezorro 6/1 my 2nd top rated are both front running types so should set a blistering early pace and I hope they might push themselves a little too hard and play into the hands of YUKON MISSION 8/1 who has good trainer/jockey usually races in midfield ready to pounce in the closing stages and this race could be run to suit it and with a clear passage pick up the leaders nearing the finish

NO BET - SOFT GROUND

CARLISLE 6.50 Div I

Not a bad race for a class 6 affair ten runners and 2 known front runners in Abel Handy and Shesadabber and the latter is my 4th top rated so with an easy lead it could possibly make the frame, I laid Sixcor 5/2 last time it ran and I will lay it again here as it stays on as though further suits it better and its best rating at this distance isn't good enough to win this race I will also look to lay Stanley Snugfit 7/1 who has a slow time recorded on good going and I don't think it likes good to from ground and the trainer is 0-13 at this course, Cuppacoco is my 3rd top rated but doesn't want really fast ground, Twice Adaay comes out 2nd best on time it recorded at Doncaster which is a completely different type of course, my money will be riding on the 3yo JUNGLE BEE 7/2 who finished 2nd last time and has been found an ideal opportunity to go one better in this race and break its duck at the 13th attempt.

NO BET - SOFT GROUND

CARLISLE 7.20 Div II

This 2nd division only has 9 runners but looks by far the weaker of the 2 divisions, Quanah 11/2 is the only known front running type in the race but I'm not sure it likes the faster ground so may struggle here and its one I will look to lay, its fairly close between my top 3 rated horses, Shes A Deva is my 3rd top rated but the 7lb’s the apprentice claims makes it joint top rated but its only won once in 16 attempts which isn't prolific the same applies to Elzaal who is 1-17, so I will side with HOT SCOOP 3/1 who has won 3 times in 18 runs and is my original top rated and will be staying on towards the finish of this race.

NO BET - SOFT GROUND
