A field of 11 where 5 of them are front running types and may play into the hands of a horse coming from off the pace, Swayze may be better over a shorter distance but I doubt it will be value to lay, two years ago the form of Treacherous 8/1 would have given it a very good chance of success but has been way below that level since then, there are quite a few horses that could go well in this race, Mighty Gurkha, Cairn Gorm, Object, Beyond Equal, The Lamplighter, Antiphon and Tyger Bay, so any of them could be fighting it out nearing the finish but I will be backing APHELIOS 9/2 who usually likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish so this race might be run to suit it.

A field of 12 for this race but this time just the one known front running type in the shape of Viewfromthestars but it might really be better over further but could be very dangerous if allowed an easy lead but is only 5th best on my figures so might be worth an each way punt and hope it holds on for a place. I'm not completely sure if I can find/see anything of value to put forward as a lay in this race but the betting will give me a better picture on that point, Lothian 8/1 hasn't won over this distance but did record a good time at Chelmsford last year but I couldn't back it here, Griggy 9/2 comes out 3rd best on my figures and could make the frame again but i doubt it will be an each way price, Youllovemewheniwin comes out in 2nd top spot but that is using a time recorded on the Tapeta surface at Wolverhampton but its best rating on the Polytrack surface is 11lbs lower, I will be putting my money on JUMIRA BRIDGE 4/1 who will I think be to the fore in the betting but has been found a good opportunity to follow up its win last time out.
