A class 6 sprint with 12 runners but just 1 known front running type in Bezza's Lad 4/1 but I doubt this one will lead all the way for the victory and if the others run to their best it wouldn't even make the frame and might be worth risking a lay on, if only things were ever that simple, Solar Prophet 8/1 and Thomas Equinas have both recorded good speed ratings but it looks like it was in races where they got towed along in a fast run affair and those times are looking like fluked times and both are maidens after 9 and 8 runs respectively so may be ones to lay if of value to do so, others that I have on my list as potential lays are Give A Little Back 11/2, *Mumayaz 5/1 and Desert Boots 8/1 who all race as though a longer distance would suit them better, Huddleton Lad is my 3rd top rated but hasn't been in good form lately and has never won over today's distance and I expect it will be an outsider, Bobby On The Beat 5/1 comes out in 2nd top spot on my figures and is usually held up or races in midfield before trying to stay on strongly at the finish but I will be backing *DEPUTISE 7/1 who I thought had every chance when it ran on Tuesday but was never put in the race to give it any chance so really did well to finish 4th, the change of jockey looks significant as he has a 43% win ratio when riding for this stable so lets hope that's a pointer to the connections expecting it to win this race.

LINGFIELD 2.18
A jump up to class 4 and as very often happens a poor turnout of just 7 runners, I prefer 8 runners so there is 3 places up for grabs if I find an each way prospect, but hey ho it is what it is. Toussarak 10/1 will I think need this run for fitness, as it usually does after a break from racing so if a single figure price I would lay it, with 3 front running types this could be a fast run race which might see Stone Of Destiny 7/1 struggle to stay today's distance while The Green Man might need further to show its best but I don't think this one will be of value to lay. Impeach and Rattling should ensure the fast early gallop although I'm not sure either of them will be able to match TYGER BAY 2/1 in the early stages and if this one leads and sets the pace it ought to lead all the way for the victory, it has good trainer and jockey stats which is always a bonus and is dropped in class to on in this race and should be able to get back to winning ways in this race.
Tyger Bay 2/1 4th -1pt
Lay bet Toussarak +1pt

Total on the day -3.5pts
