A very competitive looking class 2 race where there is 5 known frontrunners amongst the 10 entrants and in this instance i think the winner will come from something ridden prominently. Chipstead and Clearpoint seem better when racing over a longer distance while Bergerac, Zarzyni, Alligator Alley and Lord Riddiford all produce better ratings on the Tapeta surface. I had to go back to 2022 to find a rating that would make One Night Stand competitive here, Silky Wilkie will need to improve timewise to win this race, Diomed Spirit 4/1 favourite has a rating from Chelmsford that would give it every chance of winning this race but its best course and distance rating is well below that level. That leaves me with BEDFORD FLYER 13/2 who I've got rated just 1lb lower than Diomed Spirit and this one's best rating comes over todays course and distance, it's a frontrunning type and has the favoured stall 1 draw and will be the one carrying my money.
