5:00 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (30th December)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.00

A class six, five furlong dash with eleven runners but not one of them appears to be a natural front running type but I am pretty sure something, probably a horse drawn near to the inside rails, will attempt to lead all the way and I'm hoping that horse might be Billy Dylan in stall 3 who is my top rated using a 2021 rating but has been a fair bit below that level this year, it has poor trainer/jockey stats but if allowed to bowl along in front could do enough to win this race  or at least make the frame. Man On A Mission 3/1 isn't well drawn in stall 9 but will be trying to stay on at the finish but maybe too late for the win so maybe one for the lay’s list especially at the price, Glorious Charmer also looks to want further to show its best, but its rating from Southwell will be enough for me not to add to my lays list, and the same applies to Elf Rising 6/1 but this last one being a three year old I would only lay to a smaller stake. Nellie French could make the frame again here but I cant see why it should suddenly find enough to win this race. Glorious Charmer is 3rd best using Southwell's ratings with Toplight in 2nd spot and Man On A Mission in top spot, on other Tapeta ratings for this year only ive got Toplight in top spot, Glorious Charmer in 2nd top spot and Billy Dylan in 3rd top spot, on overall Tapeta figures ive got Toplight in 2nd spot with Billy Dylan in top spot. I cannot let Toplight run without some sort of bet on it but this one can be slowly away which handicaps its chances of winning.

CONCLUSION: I will go with backing two horses in this race, TOPLIGHT 3/1 who would probably be the sole bet in the race if I knew for sure it would get away on level terms but even then it still records decent ratings for the class of race the other being BILLY DYLAN 14/1 (EW) who could be allowed an easy lead in this race and if getting to the front could prove hard to catch but the trainers stats here are poor as are the jockeys stats when riding for the stable but if of value to do so I would back this one each way., so it looks like two small bets.

1:00 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (5th July)

WOLVERHAMPTON 1.00

A poor looking class 6 race where I cannot confidently find anything of value to lay and as for the winner that's just as vague, Charming Kid 12/1 and Secretfact 8/1 could be the one/s to set the early pace and the former could be a danger if allowed an easy lead and sets its own slower than usual pace and then kick-on and try and pinch the race from the front, Duke Of Firenze 12/1 is my 3rd top rated has good jockey stats but its 34 runners and 113 days since the stable last had a winner, Scale Force 7/1 is my 2nd top rated and will be trying to stay on at the finish the jockeys 0-4 record for the stable is a bit off-putting but the trainer has had a 2-9 winners in the last 2 weeks and might be the safest option in the race, top rated is Billy Dylan 4/1 but the trainer is 0-34 at the this course and hasn't had a winner from 13 runners over the last 180 days while the jockey is 0-9 for the stable, I think the winner will come from these three but which one I'm not sure and maybe dutching all 3 is the way to go.

WOLVERHAMPTON 1.30 Div I

This 1st division has a couple of front runners so it should be a true run race for the class, Wrought Iron 7/2 won last time out but in a slow run affair but I'm not sure I could lay this 3yo but it doesn't look good value at the price to win this race, I could possibly lay *Rogue Storm (non-runner) who looks better suited to a shorter trip, Million Reasons 10/1 might get outpaced in the early stages and then stay on too late to catch the leaders so another possible lay, Freedom Flyer 18/1 is my 3rd top rated and one of the possible pacesetters and could do enough to make the frame as long as it doesn't get drawn into a battle for the lead in the early stages, Independence Day 6/1 could be the one to do best of those coming from off the pace being my 2nd top rated but I will be hoping that *DRISH HERO 9/2 can set the pace to the race and then prove too hard to catch for the rest of the field.

WOLVERHAMPTON 2.00 Div II

This 2nd division only has 1 known front runner, I cannot see much to lay that I think be of value to do so but the betting will be the final decider, Youllovemewheniwin and Salta Resta are my joint 4th top rated horses, sitting in 3rd top spot is Griggy 7/1 but this one can find the trip a bit too far if there's a fast early pace which might happen in this race and the same applies to Gustav Graves 4/1 who sits in 2nd top spot but I am hoping that PORTELET BAY 13/2 who is the aforementioned front runner and my top rated so if setting the right pace should be able to keep the others at bay and lead all the way.

Portelet Bay 13/2 Unp -1pt

PONTEFRACT 3.45

A field of 8 so lets hope they all run although I don't think I can see and each way bet, I cannot see anything of value to lay in this race so lets look for the winner, Chairmanoftheboard 6/1 is my 3rd top rated but that is using its best time from 2020 so not sure if it can repeat that rating so maybe I was wrong and this one could be worth laying, Recall The Show 9/2 is my 2nd top rated but that was recorded in lower class races than this one so maybe another I could look to lay but that's a bit risky if LAMPANG 10/1 doesn't do what I expect, it is my top rated and its the only known front runner in the race so hopefully it can lead all the way here and does have decent trainer/jockey stats.

Lampang 10/1 1st +10pts

Total +10pts

BRIGHTON 5.40

A field of 12 with 3 known front running types, I can eliminate 5 of the runners as having virtually, never say never, no chance of winning but will all be double figure prices, King Crimson 6/1 is a possible pacesetter and my 4th top rated so could go well but the jockeys 0-10 record for the stable is off-putting, Hot Hot Hot 5/1 comes out 3rd best and will be trying to stay on at the finish but its only won once from 16 previous runs on turf and the jockeys record is 1-22 for the stable, Arzaak 4/1 is my 2nd top rated but its 141 days and 50 runners since the stable last had a winner, my top rated is Lethal Angel 16/1 but the trainer is 0-7 at this course and hasn't had a winner in the last month from 21 runners, I think the winner is most likely to come from my top four ratings but with them all having negatives against them I'm not sure which one will win so dutching the four of them might be the way to go or if there's no value in dutching them then maybe leaving the race alone might be best or is an each way bet on the outsider of the 4 the way to go. Not bet.

5:30 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (7th March)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.30

There's 3 sprints but not a lot to write about individual horses so I will go with 3 summary accounts and just give the essentials for each race. I have a feeling the top weight Abduction 4/1 might be the favourite for this race after winning last time out over this distance at Lingfield where it recorded a good rating which would see it with a chance here but it form on this Tapeta surface hasn't been up to that level so I think it might be vulnerable and might be worth taking a risk and laying it, another to lay could be Some Nightmare if its a single figure price it needs to improve a bit time wise the jockey is 1-37 for the stable on the AW tracks and the trainer hasn't had a winner in the last 2 weeks, El Hombre and Royal Advice could go well if reproducing their best ratings but I will be hoping that WATER OF LEITH 7/1 from stall 8 can get a nice tow into the race with fast starters in stalls 9 and 11 and gain a good position from which to attack late on in the race, the trainers record for the last 2 weeks is 6-22 which isn't bad and could be added to in this race.

Water Of Leith 7/1 3rd -1pt

Lay bet Some Nightmare +1pt

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.00 Div I

The 1st division of one of the low grade stakes races for horses rated 50 or lower and they all carry the same weight so Mr Pc and Nellie French who are the only ones rated 50 should have a small advantage and it might pay dividends with having a small bet on NELLIE FRENCH 3/1 just for that reason alone as its my joint 2nd top rated on recent c/d speed figures but the price isn't really much value, Qaaraat 3/1 can run a decent race when in the mood but lately its ability to win a race seems to have deserted it and at that price I would look to lay it but if it goes off around the 5/1 mark then I wouldn't be laying it, the top weighted horse BILLY DYLAN 14/1 has a time from 2021 that makes it my top rated but I am not sure if that was a bit of a fluke time where it got carried along in a fast run race but might be worth having a small each way covering bet just in case it can reproduce that speed figure.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30 Div II

This division isn't much better, there are 2 horses in this race rated 50, Raabeh and San Juan, the former won last time out so I expect it will be to the fore in the betting and might not represent value, I think both Dirchill 3/1 and Giant Steps 5/1 might need a longer distance to show their best so may be worth laying at shortish prices I have tipped up Rockley Point on more than one occasion and it has been poor for quite some time now and if I leave it alone here its bound to spring back to form so maybe worth having a small covering bet especially if its a big price, most of my money will be riding on SAN JUAN 8/1 who is my 3rd top rated on recent c/d speed figures and the best rating for those that have run on the new Southwell Tapeta surface.

11:40 Lingfield Racing Tips (18th December)

LINGFIELD 11.40

I hope all 8 runners stand their ground as I am hoping to have an each way wager in this race, Fool Proof and Mals Oui Marlene have only poor recent form and I think they will be outsiders, I will be looking to lay Desert Lime 5/2 who hasn't any distance form to its name and races as though further would suit it better, Storm Melody is 4th top rated with Micks Spirit in 3rd top spot and this 3yo won last time out and could still improve but I will stick with the proven, I've got joint top rated horses in Smokey and SHAMSHON 10/1 and I am siding with the latter because its the only known front runner in the field so I am hoping its allowed a easy lead and then keep enough in reserve to repel any late challengers.

Shamshon 28/1 3rd -1pt

LINGFIELD 1.25

Only four runners with two of them being possible pacesetters, One Night Stand will I think be the outsider of the four, Mohareb is one that can front run and comes out 3rd best on my figures, if the two leaders go off too fast then Soldiers Minute could be the one to prosper but I will be hoping that FIZZY FEET 2/1 who has the stall one draw can get to the front and stay there till the finishing line.

Fizzy Feet 4/1 4th -1pt

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.00

Firstly I will be looking to lay Tone The Barone 4/1 who is forecast to be the second favourite in this race but I think this one is better on the Polytrack surface, Thegreatestshowman 5/1 might be outclassed in this race, Exalted Angel 11/10 is my 2nd top rated and could go well but I will be hoping another front runner in the shape of LIHOU 6/1 can set the pace to the race and lead all the way.

Lihou 6/1 3rd -1pt

Lay bet Tone The Barone -2.25pts

WOLVEHAMPTON 6.30

With 11 runners its the biggest sprint of the four but it is so poor I'm not sure how to bet or lay in this race, there is 3 known front runners in the race and maybe Surewecan will do best of the trio as it is my 3rd top rated but the jockey is 0-18 for the stable and the trainer only has a 5% win ratio at this course plus its 206 days since the stable last had a winner, First Verse comes out in 2nd top spot and this one usually stays on over this distance and maybe prefer a longer trip but the horse still hasn't won in 6 previous AW races and the jockey is 0-9 for the stable, top spot goes to Billy Dylan who, if its best speed figure is to be believed as it might now be looking a flukey time when it got towed along in a fast run race, would win this race more that a shade cosily and might be worth taking the risk but the horse has had 17 AW runs and has made the frame four times but hasn't won any of the 17 races, the trainer is 0-38 at this course(which has changed its surface so the past data might not be relied upon, and the jockey is 0-6 for the stable. This race might be best left alone but I might be tempted to back *BILLY DYLAN if its an each way price, maybe 7/1 isn't really an each way price as I was hoping for a *double figure price.

6:00 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (23rd November)

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.00

A field of 7 with 2 known front running types which always helps with any analysis, if a single figure price Venturous 10/1 would be worth laying as this might not be its preferred surface and/or it might need a longer distance to show it’s best form, Blue De Vega comes out 3rd best on my ratings and does stay on strongly at the finish and maybe another that is even better over a longer distance, Mondammej 7/4 won last time out but that was 33 days ago so why its been off since then I’ve no idea, it is my top rated on just 2021 course and distance times and 2nd top rated on overall figures and could be the one to prosper if my top rated doesn't run to its best but isn't of value in my opinion, Fizzy Feet will make sure that ROYAL BIRTH 14/1 (EW) doesn't get it too easy up front but i am hoping the selection can get to the front and once doing so it could prove hard to catch and does have decent trainer stats at this course and the jockey does quite well when riding for this stable and will be the one carrying my money in this race, with only 7 runners i am not sure if it is worth backing each way as there is only two places up for grabs.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.00 Div I

This class 6 race isn't great even for the class with only 5 of the 11 runners having a rating on my figures, I will look to lay Okaldi 3/1 who may need further if its a single figure price at the off and at the price on offer it looks poor value in my eyes, It Must Be Faith, Thegreyvtrain, Morty and Red Allure could all go well here if running to their best and I wouldn't put anyone off backing anyone of them but as for myself I will take a risk with a punt on BILLY DYLAN 9/2 although all the data, apart from its speed figure, says leave it alone, the trainer hasn't had a winner for 369 days but has only has 33 runners during that time, the trainer has a 3% win ratio at this course and the jockey is 0-11 for this stable and the horse hasn't won in 16 attempts on an artificial surface but has been placed in 4 of those 16 races but this is such a poor race a reproduction of its best time speed figure would see it winning this race a shade cosily.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30 Div II

This 2nd division is dire and I have negatives against 7 of the 11 runners but in such a poor race I couldn't recommend with any confidence laying any of those 7 runners, the one that might set the pace to this race is SHESADABBER 11/1 (EW) who comes 3rd top on my figures and with an easy lead it could be dangerous and hold on for the win so at the price it might be worth an each way flutter, to show how bad this race actually is QAARAAT 7/4 is forecast to be the two to one favourite and its best time, which was recorded in 2019, it would be my top rated but drops down to 2nd best on overall figures and at the price doesn't really represent any value but I couldn't say it wont or cant win so I cannot bet in this race without it carrying some of my money while LORNA COLE 20/1 (EW) comes out top rated on just 2021 speed figures and 2nd top overall but hasn't been in good form lately but looks value for an each way punt, none of the three have good trainer/jockey stats and none of them have had a winner in the last 2 weeks. I might look to dutch the three highlighted horses but in reality this race is maybe best left alone, the betting might be the deciding factor in whether I have a bet or not but I don't want people to lose money so again its best left alone, hey ho decisions decisions.

6:30 Wolverhapton Racing Tips (16th October)

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.30

Only 7 runners in this class 4 race but I cannot find anything of value to lay as I think both Amor De Mi Vada and Aunt Agatha will be the two biggest outsiders, I think the early pace might well be set by Algheed who I think might need a longer trip to show its best but I doubt it will tear off hell for leather and hope then to outstay the field so it could be a hard call to say what will happen with this one, ARAMIS GREY 9/4 has been known to lead before if nothing else wants to so could make sure it is a decent early gallop and is my top rated on just 2021 course and distance times and its best time from Chelmsford also makes it top rated but that's a different surface but if getting to the front in this race it could prove hard to catch, RESTLESS ENDEAVOUR 6/1 has only a slow time from its sole course and distance experience but its best time from Newcastle which makes it my top rated on this Tapeta surface and it has won going round a bend before so there's no reason why it shouldn't like this course, DUBAI HOPE 15/8 is making its handicap debut after winning last time out here but over 7 furlongs, I do think this shorter trip could see it in an even better light and has faded before over 7 furlongs so this drop back in trip just might serve it well but I expect it will be the favourite, so I will hopefully be able to dutch all 3 runners to make a profit from the race as I cannot narrow it down to anything less than the three highlighted.

WOLVERHAMPTON 8.30

A 10 runner race where I can see 3 which are front running types but I think they will be setting it up for something coming from off the pace, I will look to lay both Brazen Belle 5/2 and The Gloaming 13/2 if they are single figure prices which they are forecast to be, I think the former may be better over further and just might get outpaced in this race and the same applies to the latter and this one is also hasn't won or been placed in a race on any of the All-Weather tracks from six previous attempts, my money will be split between TOPLIGHT 7/1 (EW)  who is my top rated on just this years course and distance times and will probably be my main bet as the trainer does well at this course with its 3yo’s but I do have BILLY DYLAN 20/1 (EW) rated higher but it hasn't been in great form lately and the trainer is 0-34 in the last 5 years at this course and the jockeys 0-7 for the stable is enough to put me off backing this one on its own and I am hoping I can have 2 each way bets in this race with my stakes tilted heavily in favour of Toplight.
