6:15 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (7th September)

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.15

The early pace in this race could be set by Razzam and if allowed a soft lead then it could be dangerous and might do enough to at least make the frame but I doubt it will be an each way price according to the early tissue prices, Momaer has also led before but this distance looks a bit too short for it but did record a decent rating on turf at Leicester over this distance so I'm not quite sure what to expect from this horse so not a bet or lay on it. International Girl and Le Beau Garcon could struggle to stay this distance if there's a fast early pace which I expect will happen in this race. Alcazn and Water Of Leith are capable of producing good ratings but in lower class races than this class 4 affair. My money in this race will be riding on HELLO ME 11/2 who will most likely track the leaders waiting to pounce nearing the finish and then prove the stronger, the trainer has a 23% win ratio with their older horses at this course which hopefully is a pointer to the stable expecting it to run a very big race here.

WOLVERHAMPTON 8.45

From stall 2 Walking On Clouds might attempt to lead all the way in this race and being my 3rd top rated it could possibly do enough to make the frame but it has never won at this level before so i doubt it can lead all the way for the victory, Space Cowboy can also front run but only if its allowed to set its own usually slower pace but I doubt that will happen here with 2 others that have been known to lead before if nothing else wants to, Mum's Tipple comes out in 5th top spot on my figures and races as though further would suit it better so should be staying on nearing the finish but maybe too late to win, Good Earth could lead if nothing else wants to set the pace but can struggle to stay this distance in a fast run race but despite that still comes out 4th best on my ratings, Strong Power usually races in midfield or at the rear of the field and then stays on stoutly towards the end of the race but hasn't been in good form lately, top of my own unique charts is ARAMIS GREY 16/1 (EW) who is versatile when it comes to racing tactics but I expect from stall 5 it will slot in just behind the leaders and then stay on the stronger nearing the finish and if an each way price then that would be a bonus.

7:30 Kempton Racing Tips (19th January)

KEMPTON 7.30

Only 6 runners over 6 furlongs, I would look to lay Tone The Barone if of value to do so as it can struggle to stay this distance the same might apply to Haziym but this one hasn't any surface form to its name so I've no idea how good the horse is so I couldn't back or lay this one but I think it will be an outsider. Tinker Toy 7/2 might prefer a longer distance and Kiwano 11/2 needs to improve a little time wise to win this race, Annaf, even money, is my 2nd top rated overall but my top rated on just course and distance times while ARAMIS GREY 9/1 is 2nd top rated on course and distance ratings but if able to reproduce its best Chelmsford rating here it would be winning this race, its the only one that's known to have led over this distance which is a bonus and could lead all the way here and looks the value call in the race.

1:25 Southwell Racing Tips (16th December)

SOUTHWELL 1.25

A field of 12 with 3 possible pacesetters, Blackjack 9/2 who might prefer a different surface and Slate Cracker who needs to improve time wise could be lays if of value to do so, I think that Walking On Clouds 5/1 might need further but hasn't any distance form on the AW tracks but hasn't much English form to its name so I'm not sure if I could lay it. My Boy Jack 11/2, You're Cool 10/1 and Ustath 10/1 could go well but I will be backing TAHONTA 15/2 who is my top rated on just course and distance ratings and likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly nearing the finish and also *PORTELET BAY 20/1 who is a possible pacesetter in stall 11 isn't ideal but in the make-up of this race could get to the front and doing do could be hard to catch so I will be having the 2 bets to cover the angles of running styles and where their best Tapeta rating was recorded.

Tahonta 15/2 5th -1pts

Lay bet: Walking On Clouds -2.75pts

SOUTHWELL 2.35

A field of 10 for this class 4 race with just Bang On The Bell and Murbih being known to have led before and the former could go very well if allowed an easy lead but has poor trainer stats which is off-putting. Twilight Madness 9/2 might be worth laying as I think it will be better over further, Pockley has been in good form lately but hasn't run at this course before but has a decent rating on the straight course at Newcastle so this course could suit it, my money will be riding on my top rated horse over this course and distance in the shape of SO GRATEFUL 7/1 and this one has good trainer and jockey stats but I could have small covering bets on the other two dangers.

So Grateful 7/1 4th -1pt

Lay bet: Twilight Madness -1.875pts

Total -2.875pts

KEMPTON 7.45

Another field of 10 for this class 2 sprint and once again 2 known front running types, Moss Gill 11/2 might find this distance too far with a fast early gallop and will be worth laying if a single figure price, the 2 at the bottom of the handicap, Total Commitment and Tyger Bay have been in good form lately and can produce good ratings but they do their best in lower class races but I'm not 100% sure that I could lay them while the top weight Hazlym may be better when raced over a longer distance. The 2 known front running types are MAY SONIC 7/1 and ARAMIS GREY 3/1, the former has the better draw but its best ratings have come at Chelmsford and the jockey is 0-7 for the stable but that's not enough to put me off its chances while the latter is in stall 9 but has good trainer and jockey stats, I'm not sure which one will gain the upperhand so I will have to back them both.

8:00 Kempton Racing Tips (9th November)

KEMPTON 8.00

FIRST FOLIO has been known to lead before but stall ten isn't ideal and is drawn widest of the four horses that have been known to lead before so maybe worth laying.

STRIKE RED 9/1 recorded its best rating in 2021 and that wasn't good enough to win this race and hasn't been at that level so far this year so maybe another one to lay.

TOLSTOY is a 3yo who either tracks the leaders or races in midfield, it needs to improve time wise to win this race but is still capable of showing some improvement.

APOLLO ONE can be held up or track the leaders, it would need to improve on its best course and distance rating but does have a rating from Chelmsford that would make it competitive.

TIGER CRUSADE 15/2 has got the plum stall one draw but can find this distance too short for it so might get outpaced in the early stages and stay on but maybe too late for the win.

DREAM COMPOSER is a course and distance winner and won last time out on turf but time wise it would need to improve a good few spots to win this race.

ARAMIS GREY is a versatile type with its racing tactics and can lead so with the stall 2 draw I think it will either lead or at least get a good early position from which to attack nearing the finish.

APHELIOS a 3yo who likes to track the leaders and has a good rating but its just outside my top four and is raised in class.

PAPA STOUR is a possible pacesetter but its ratings for this year has been well below its 2021 best and I expect it to be an outsider.

IVASECRET did its best rating this year over today's course and distance but being stuck out in stall 12 it will need a degree of luck to get a clear run.

TOTAL COMMITMENT is always capable of producing a good rating but it might find itself outclassed in this class 2 race.

INTERVENTION is another that can produce a high rating but once again this class two race might prove too much for it to win.

SUMMARY: This is a competitive looking class 2 race, I will look to lay First Folio 11/2 who isn't well drawn for a horse that likes to lead, Dream Composer needs to improve time wise to win this race so might be another one to lay if a single figure price. There are a few horses that could run well in this race but I will be siding with ARAMIS GREY 6/1 who can lead or at least track the leaders and from stall 2 it should be able to get a good early position and could even lead and if getting to the front could prove hard to catch also in its favour is that the trainer has a 17% win ratio at this course and the jockey has a 28% win ratio on the stables older horses.

7:00 Kempton Racing Tips (2nd November)

KEMPTON 7.00

STRIKE RED looks to be a better horse on the Tapeta surface, is usually held up in the rear or midfield as its sole run on this surface was poor its not one I could back.

APOLLO ONE using a time recorded at Chelmsford this one comes out in 4th top spot and is usually held up or tracks the leaders and could possibly make the frame.

TOLSTOY either runs in midfield or tracks the leaders and is a few spots away from making my top 4 ratings so another that could possibly make the frame.

TIGER CRUSADE this one races as though a longer distance is required for it to show its best form and will be trying to stay on at the finish but maybe too late to win this race.

EMPEROR SPIRIT is a possible pacesetter in stall 8 which isn't ideal in the make-up of this race and looks a better horse when running on the Tapeta surface.

ABERAMA GOLD usually races in midfield before keeping on at the business end of its races and comes out 3rd best on my figures so could go well here.

TOMOUTH it has been known to lead before but its final times says that it has to improve time wise to win this race.

ARAMIS GREY is a versatile type when it comes down to racing tactics which includes leading and is well drawn in stall 3 and is my 2nd top rated.

KING OF TONGA hasn't any distance form on an artificial surface to its name it has won at this distance on soft ground and may need further and I expect it will be an outsider in the betting.

TYGER BAY using a time from 2021 this one is my top rated BUT its best form has come in lower class races so might get outclassed in this class 3 race.

TREACHEROUS sits just outside my top 4 using my speed figures and usually likes to track the leaders before staying on at the finish could make the frame if others falter.

SUMMARY: With 2 and possibly 3 front running types in this race it should be a true run affair, I could look to lay Strike Red 6/1 and Emperor Spirit 8/1 who seem better on the tapeta surface, I can see slight negatives against most the runners, which isn't unusual, leaving me with Aberama Gold 12/1 who might do best of those coming from off the pace and ARAMIS GREY 9/2 who is the one that will be carrying my money and the jockey 25% win ratio for the stable looks a positive booking.

7:00 Chelmsford Racing Tips (8th October)

CHELMSFORD 7.00

A class 4 race which isn't the best for its grade, the early pace could well be set by ARAMIS GREY 9/2 and being my 3rd top rated using a 2021 rating it could do enough from the front to at least make the frame and could even win the race if others falter, HELLO ME 12/1 comes out in top spot for just this years course and distance ratings and comes out 2nd best on overall figures so has to be worth an each way interest, TOTAL COMMITMENT 20/1 hasn't any form over this course to work with but its best 2021 time from Lingfield would see it win by a whisker and I cannot let it run without some money on it at the price, as all 3 did their best last year I'm not able to split them any further but I also have four other horses that I cannot discount completely the stakes for this race will be kept to a minimum and it might even be a race to leave well alone.

CHELMSFORD 7.30 Div I

What a poor race with only the top four in the handicap having run fast enough to register on my figures, Shamshon 9/1 would at some point in the past have eaten this lot alive but this 11yo seems to be on the decline but could possibly make the frame if able to reproduce its best 2021 rating, Babe Alicious 9/4 usually stays on strongly at the finish and with no known front runners in this race it might not be run to suit its racing style and therefore doesn't look value at the price, Mr Fayez 6/1 would have every chance using its best figure from 2021 over this course and distance but its still a maiden after 17 starts which is a bit off-putting, so my money will be riding on FLAVIUS TITUS 9/4 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish but once again the question is, will the race be run to suit it, I cannot answer that question so once again low stakes are called for.

CHELMSFORD 8.00 Div II

Division 2 isn't any better and I will be very surprised if the winner didn't come from the top 5 in the handicap, Pretty Shiftwell 8/1 can find this distance too far for it but once again with no confirmed front running type in the race it might not get to the front soon enough for the win, Amalfi Gem 5/2 and Jumira Bridge 9/1 come out in joint 3rd top position so either could make the frame, Griggy 11/8 has been in tremendous form recently winning its last 2 races and could complete the hat trick here but I expect it to be the short priced favourite and therefore not of value to back so instead I will take a punt and go with backing COMPANY MINX 9/1 (EW) it looks the value call in the race and hoping it will be an each way price as a form of insurance with the apprentice jockey being 1 from 1 for the stable i hope he can make it 2 from 2.

1:30 Lingfield Racing Tips (26th February)

LINGFIELD 1.30

EXALTED ANGEL has won in this class of race before and using a 2021 speed figure it recorded at Wolverhampton last year it comes out as my top rated.

LORD RIDDIFORD looks the one most likely to set the pace to this race but would need to improve time wise to hold on for the win and might be worth laying.

MONDAMMEJ hasn't any distance form on this surface while its best from Wolverhampton would make it my 3rd top rated.

ONE NIGHT STAND races as though a longer distance would suit it better and I doubt it can pick up the leader but will probably be the outsider in this race.

STRONG POWER has been running well lately winning its last 3 races and comes out 2nd top on my figures so could run well again here.

TONE THE BARONE is one that can usually be relied upon to do its best and is another that could run well in this race.

SUMMARY: Only 6 runners with Lord Riddiford 3/1 the one that looks most likely to lead in this race but I might look to lay it as it needs to improve time wise to win this race, all of the runners apart from one have been running in class 2 handicaps and probably deserve the chance to compete at this level but I will stick with the proven and back the only one that's proven in this class so my money will be riding on EXALTED ANGEL 3/1 who usually likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish and does have good trainer/jockey stats.

Exalted Angel 3/1 4th -1pt

LINGFIELD 3.10

Another 6 runner race in class 2 this time and to be honest I'm not sure what to make of this race, I've got Soldiers Minute as my 4th top rated on a 2022 speed figure, Fizzy Feet a possible pacesetter as my 3rd top rated again using a 2022 rating, Crimson Sand comes out in 2nd top spot using a 2021 speed figure with Marks Bear in top spot again using a 2021 rating but it is very close between them and the other pair, If You Dare another possible front runner and Asadjumerah I have marked down as possible hidden dangers so I'm going to leave this race alone.

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.45

To be honest this isn't a good race for a class 4 affair but at least Night Narcissus 6/1 will make sure there's a decent early pace but being my 4th top rated I doubt it can hold on for the win but could make the frame so maybe lay the win part is the way to go I think I can add Annie Rose 7/1 to my lay list as I think its better on the Polytrack surface, of the others Camerata, Pacifico and Sky Storm are lightly raced sorts and could be capable of improvement but I'm hoping its not in this race, ARAMIS GREY 11/2 is my 2nd top rated and its versatile with its racing tactics and that does include leading and as its drawn in stall 1 I think it will be ridden from the front and if it does get to the front it could be very hard to catch if it reproduces its best and I only have one horse INEVITABLE OUTCOME higher so I will be backing them both to cover the angles.

Back down to class 6 here with 3 known front running types in the race but none of them are in my top 4 rated so it looks something coming from off the pace will win this race, I have a couple that I could look to lay but the betting will as usual make the final decision, Porfin 9/2 may find this distance stretches its stamina with a fast early pace and with 3 front running types it should be fast run so one to lay along with Miss Bella Brand 8/1 who might not really like this Tapeta surface, Al Asef will be running on and comes out 4th best on my figures using Wolverhampton or Newcastle ratings and 2nd best when using a recent Southwell speed figure so could make the frame, I've got joint 2nd top rated horses firstly Red Alert 6/1 who could do enough to make the frame if it runs to its best but isn't what I consider an each way price, the other joint 2nd top rated is STEELRIVER 14/1 (EW) who is also my top rated on Southwell ratings, its usually held up for a late run and the booked jockey, Jamie Spencer is a master riding from off the pace and coming with a late rattle so will be carrying some of my money in an each way wager, the rest will be riding on DEPUTISE 3/1 who ran a good race in a fast time when finishing 2nd this year and has been found a chance to get back to winning ways.

2:51 Lingfield Racing Tips (5th February)

LINGFIELD 2.51

OOH IS IT 7/2 with 3 front runners in this race that like to lead this one might struggle to stay the distance and one I would like to lay.

ARAMIS GREY 9/2 has good trainer 15% and jockey 20% stats but its 16 runners and 33 days since the stables last winner and is my 2nd top rated and versatile with its racing tactics.

IMPEACH 6/1 a possible front runner in stall 1 and third top rated on my figures so could do enough to make the frame.

RADETSKY 4/1 has led before but hasn't any form over this distance and could be a bit of a hidden danger so neither a bet or a lay in my eyes.

PUERTO DE VEGA 7/1 didn't do enough on its Kempton run over this distance to register on my figures but it another I couldn't bet or lay.

DEPUTISE 6/1 is capable of recording a fast time but not usually at this class four level so may be outclassed and is held by Impeach on recent form so may be worth laying.

SUMMARY: I will look to lay Ooh 7/2 Is It who may struggle to stay the distance with the make-up of this race as for the winner I will be backing. ARAMIS GREY 9/2 who is versatile with its racing tactics so could adapt to whatever happens in this race pace-wise and comes out top rated at this class of race.

LINGFIELD 4.00

GOOD EFFORT 7/4 a possible pacesetter and joint top rated using a 2021 race is forecast to be the favourite and it could go well, its won 7 and been placed in 4 of its 15 AW runs but I don't think it will a value bet but its also not one I can lay.

APOLLO ONE 16/1 hasn't any form at this course while its best from Wolverhampton and Southwell would leave it a bit short of winning this race.

EXALTED ANGEL 14/1 who usually likes to track the leaders is just outside my top ratings and may struggle to peg back the winners in time to win this race.

LORD OF THE LODGE 7/1 a possible pacesetter who has a fastish time on Tapeta at Wolverhampton but its best on this surface is quite a bit slower so maybe a lay.

ONE NIGHT STAND 33/1 another possible leader but stall 10 isn't ideal its best speed figure makes it my 6th highest but there's only 3lb between 4th to 6th could go well if overcoming its draw.

ROHAAN 7/2 a holdup type who has been running in better class races and is 4th best on my ratings so could make the frame with a clear run.

SOLDIERS MINUTE 9/1 is my joint top rated on 2021/22 c/d ratings and has a good jockey booking and usually tracks the leaders ready to pounce.

SPYCATCHER 9/1 hasn't any distance form on an artificial surface but has won at the distance on turf so it might need further but could go well in the make-up of this race.

COPINET sits just outside my top 4 ratings and is usually either held up or runs in midfield but might struggle to catch the leaders.

NON RUNNER FIZY FEET 20/1 is in stall 2 and that could help this front runner and it is my 3rd top rated so should be in contention.

SUMMARY: With four front running types in this race it should be fast and furious and all four of them are in my top six ratings which makes me think this race might be set up for something coming from off the front and everything looks ideal for SOLDIERS MINUTE 9/1 to capitalise here but it is a very competitive race, which would be expected for a Listed class race, so my stakes wont be at full strength but it looks to be the value call in this race.

6:30 Wolverhapton Racing Tips (16th October)

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.30

Only 7 runners in this class 4 race but I cannot find anything of value to lay as I think both Amor De Mi Vada and Aunt Agatha will be the two biggest outsiders, I think the early pace might well be set by Algheed who I think might need a longer trip to show its best but I doubt it will tear off hell for leather and hope then to outstay the field so it could be a hard call to say what will happen with this one, ARAMIS GREY 9/4 has been known to lead before if nothing else wants to so could make sure it is a decent early gallop and is my top rated on just 2021 course and distance times and its best time from Chelmsford also makes it top rated but that's a different surface but if getting to the front in this race it could prove hard to catch, RESTLESS ENDEAVOUR 6/1 has only a slow time from its sole course and distance experience but its best time from Newcastle which makes it my top rated on this Tapeta surface and it has won going round a bend before so there's no reason why it shouldn't like this course, DUBAI HOPE 15/8 is making its handicap debut after winning last time out here but over 7 furlongs, I do think this shorter trip could see it in an even better light and has faded before over 7 furlongs so this drop back in trip just might serve it well but I expect it will be the favourite, so I will hopefully be able to dutch all 3 runners to make a profit from the race as I cannot narrow it down to anything less than the three highlighted.

A 10 runner race where I can see 3 which are front running types but I think they will be setting it up for something coming from off the pace, I will look to lay both Brazen Belle 5/2 and The Gloaming 13/2 if they are single figure prices which they are forecast to be, I think the former may be better over further and just might get outpaced in this race and the same applies to the latter and this one is also hasn't won or been placed in a race on any of the All-Weather tracks from six previous attempts, my money will be split between TOPLIGHT 7/1 (EW)  who is my top rated on just this years course and distance times and will probably be my main bet as the trainer does well at this course with its 3yo’s but I do have BILLY DYLAN 20/1 (EW) rated higher but it hasn't been in great form lately and the trainer is 0-34 in the last 5 years at this course and the jockeys 0-7 for the stable is enough to put me off backing this one on its own and I am hoping I can have 2 each way bets in this race with my stakes tilted heavily in favour of Toplight.

PONTEFRACT 2.25

A 13 runner class 5 race with a couple of known front runners and I think Breaking Records will be the pacesetter and could do enough to make the frame on its best time from 2020 being my joint 3rd top rated along with Round The Island who will be trying to stay on nearing the finish, I've got HURSTWOOD 6/1 as my 2nd top rated and to help its cause it being ridden by a 7lb claiming apprentice who has 1-3 record for the stable so it might be a positive booking but I do have MR ORANGE 12/1 (EW) rated a few spots higher but this ones best time was recorded last year and so far this year it hasn't shown much but this one is capable of bouncing back to form without prior warning and could be worth an each way punt.

Only 6 runners but a hard race to analyse and not much to say about the race, AL SIMMO 9/4 and/or ARAMIS GREY 5/2 could set the pace to the race and the race might well be won from the front, the former is my top rated one a time from this year and is a more natural looking pacesetter while the latter is versatile with its racing tactics which does include leading.

A hard race to analyse to a conclusion but I will look to lay Thrilla In Manila 15/8 favourite who did win last time out in a class 6 race but I am not convinced it will be able to reproduce it in this class 5 affair and it looks poor value at the price and another lay is Wades Magic 4/1 who doesn't seem to reproduce its best form on good to firm ground, as for the winner I will dutch 3 horses with each way bets, MAJOR PUSEY 12/1 who will one day manage to hold on when it leads, ECONOMIC CRISIS 16/1 who will be trying to stay on at the finish and BLAZING HOT 16/1 another possible front runner so I hope one of them can lead all the way but also cover the angles with one I think will stay on at the finish.
