A 12 runner Listed class race but there looks to be 5 runners that I don't think can win this race and I would lay all of them if value to do so but as usual it will be the betting which decides what I will or will not be laying, Misty Grey is my 2nd top rated on just 2021 course and distance times but that rating is only good enough for 5th top spot on my overall figures, rated just 2lbs higher is Exalted Angel who is my top rated for this year and 4th best overall, Soldiers Minute comes out 3rd best on my own unique speed ratings but this one is held by the horse that will be carrying my money but could still make the frame, the top weight Judicial comes out 2nd top rated on my overall figures but this hold up type will need a degree of luck from stall 10 but with a clear run it ought to make the frame but I will be backing GOOD EFFORT who hasn't any form on this course and distance this year but its best rating from last year would see it winning a shade cosily and last year it was running in higher class races and the trainer does have a decent strike rate at this course especially with their older horses.

A poor looking race even for a class 6 dash, I would look to lay Shanghai Rock and Cometh The Man who both may be better when racing over a longer distance but both of them are 3yo’s so I wont be betting too heavily, I will also look to lay Cool Spirit who hasn't produced a speed figure of note from 3 runs over this course and distance and also at Newcastle and Southwell over today's distance, my top rated for just this year over this course and distance is BLUE VENTURE 9/1 who is a front running type and in the make-up of this race it should be able to either get to the front or at least be prominent from the off so could be worth an each way wager at the price but I do have QAATAAR 12/1 rated higher but this time I am using a time from 2020 but that time would see it winning this race a shade cosily but I have to admit this one hasn't been in the best of form lately but it might be worth a bet as its an double figure price.
