2:10 Lingfield racing Tips (2nd March)

LINGFIELD 2.10

LETHAL BLAST 14/1 is versatile when it comes to racing tactics and that can include leading and is my 5th top rated so could go well enough from the front to make the frame.

DOC SPORTELLO is usually either held up or tracks the leaders and then tries to stay on but I'm not sure this is its favoured surface but I think the betting will show that.

EQUALLY FAST is the other known front running type in the race, hasn't had any recent c/d form and its best time from 2020 wouldn't see it winning this race but I expect it to be an outsider.

SHAMSHON 13/2 has good trainer, 15% and jockey, 25%, win ratios so could go well and its best speed figure from 2020 makes it my 2nd top rated.

MICK'S SPIRIT 3/1 comes out 3rd best on my figures using a race from last year, it usually tracks the leaders and then stays on strongly so could make the frame but isn't an each way price.

KODIAK ATTACK 5/2 has poor trainer stats at this course and I don't think this surface brings out the best in it and one i will be looking to lay especially at that price.

KATH'S TOYBOY 7/1 has decent trainer and good jockey stats but still hasn't won a race on an All-Weather track from 10 previous runs but has made the frame in 5 of those 10 races so it might be worth laying the win part if it stays in single figures in the betting.

TOPLIGHT 5/1 comes out in fourth top spot using a speed figure it recorded in 2021 and usually races in midfield or is held up but maybe wont reach the leaders in time for the win but it could make the frame but isn't what I would call an each way price.

HEY HO LETS GO using a 2021 rating it comes out in top spot when I take into consideration the 3lb the apprentice jockey claims and the jockey is 2-5 for the stable.

SUMMARY: I will be laying Kodiak Attack who might not really like this surface and I could also lay Kath's Toyboy if its value to lay, as for the winner I will be betting on HEY HO LETS GO 20/1 (EW) who has good jockey stats and has been racing in higher class races recently and looks the value call in this race but the negative is the stables last winner came nearly a year ago admittedly they have only had 14 runners in that time but I am hoping its going to be an each way price and will be carrying my hopes and money.

Hey Ho Let's Go 20/1 6th -2pts

Lay bets Kath's Toyboy +1pt

Total -1pt

KEMPTON 8.00

Not much positives to talk about in this race and I think I will leave it alone, I was going to look to lay Magicinthemaking 10/1 if of value to do so, which it isn't and I doubt it will backed to a lower price, but my top five rated horses where there is only 4lbsbetween them, all have negatives against their name so they cant be relied upon to reproduce their best, joint 4th top rated are Knockout Blow 10/1 where the jockey is 0-3 for the stable and its been over 800 days since they last had a winner, and Mashaan 10/1 where the trainer is 1-17 at this course and its been 11 runners and 27 days since their last winner, Sir Hector 14/1 is 3rd best on my figures but the trainer is 1-62 at this course and 6 runners and 16 days since this stables last winner, 2nd top rated is Excellent George 15/2 but the jockeys 0-4 for the stable doesn't inspire confidence and top rated is Sword Exceed 12/1 who hasn't been in good form lately and has poor trainer/jockey stats. Others Monsieur Fantasie 3/1, Cool Spirit 5/2 and Sir Gregory 3/1 are all in good form but do need to improve a bit time wise and in my opinion represent poor value but as those rated higher cannot be guaranteed to reproduce their best its a race where I will not be betting.

Lay bets must be 9/1 and less sp
