2:05 York Racing Tips (24th July)

YORK 2.05

I think the 3 at the bottom of this class 3 handicap might be outclassed at this level in terms of winning this race but both Dark Shot and Eeh Bah Gum have been known to lead so could possibly do enough to make the frame and if pushed I would side the former doing best of them, Secretinthepark races as though further would suit it better and I could lay any of them if a single figure price, Mid Winster, Ventura Express and James Watt have recorded their best times this year so could go well in this race but I will be looking to back SOUL SEEKER 7/1 who will be trying to run on strongly at the business end of the race and this race could be run to suit it.

YORK 2.40

I can see a couple of known front running types in this race although one of them Giogiobbo would need to improve time wise to win this race, Manigordo can produce fast times but usually in a lower class race than today's but will be trying to stay on at the finish, I will look to lay Mundammej 11/2 who I think can struggle to stay this distance on turf, Golden Apollo 7/1 who might need further on good to firm going and could be another to lay, I'm not 100% sure if MUSIC SOCIETY 10/1 (EW) wants really fast good to firm ground but has a good chance on the clock to win this race and I will be having an each way bet on it, my other bet will also be each way on *TYPHOON TEN 33/1 (EW) who is a front running type and if getting to the front in this race it could prove hard to catch and I am hoping its an each way price for a bit of insurance.

NEWMARKET 5.20

This is a nice looking class 3 race and a good place to start is with Mr Wagyu who has been running out of its skin lately mainly in class 4 races but has run well in higher class affairs so I expect it to go well here, it likes to lead and is the only known front running type in the race plus it is my 2nd top rated in this race, I cannot see anything in the race that I could put forward as a lay in this race but I will be hoping that *LINCOLN PARK 9/2 can reproduce the time it recorded at Chester and if doing so would win with a bit in hand.

SALISBURY 6.05

An eight runner race where I will look to lay Starchant 11/1 and Spreadsheet 9/2 as usual if they are single figure prices, there's a couple of 3yo’s that could be hidden dangers but I will as usual stick with the proven and will be backing both HAVEONEYERSELF 9/4 who could try to lead all the way in this race and the other known front running type is CORONATION COTTAGE 11/1 and they are my 2 top rated so I'm hoping they don't cut each others throats trying to lead but I cannot see anything to take them on with so I will backing them both.

SALISBURY 7.35

A field of 9 runners and as I hope to have an each way punt in this race I need at least 8 of them to run, I could lay three of the four 3yo’s in this race if they are a single figure price but I know if I lay all them one of them will improve enough to cause me to lose, Amathus is my 2nd top rated using just times from 2021 but that time is only good enough for joint 5th top place, along with Enduring, on overall figures and the latter recorded its time on an AW track and has poor form on turf, Aramis Grey comes out 3rd top but once again that's using a time from an AW track, the top weight Theotherside is one of three horses from the Hannon stable and is my 2nd top rated using a time from 2020 but I will hopefully be having an each way punt on KENDERGARTEN KOP 9/1 (EW) who recorded its best time this year at Brighton but the trainer hasn't got great stats but I'm hoping this one can get to the front and then prove hard to catch.

2:20 Brighton Racing Tips (28th May)

I have put this race forward as they are saying the going at Brighton is good, where everywhere else has the word soft in their going, so i will watch the first race on the card before deciding whether to have a bet or not and will only bet if there isn't any cut in the ground. If you are not able to check the going beforehand then you might be better off leaving the race alone.

BRIGHTON 2.20

TYPHOON TEN 10/3 has won once at this distance on good to firm ground, which i doubt it will get here, good going if lucky, the trainer has a 27% win ratio but is 0-7 with their older (4yo+) horses, this is a drop in class and comes out as my top rated plus they are using a useful 5lb claiming apprentice to further help their cause.

MAMILLIUS 11/4 has only slow times recently and i had to go back to 2018 to find its best time and that time would make it my joint 2nd top rated, its been racing over further recently and this drop back in distance could help it but the lack of early pace in the race could go against its chances.

SIR OLIVER 5/1 this one also has a 5lb claiming apprentice but if there is a good early pace then it might struggle to stay the distance and its best time is only good enough for 5th fastest but the trainer does well at this course and it could go well especially if there is a slow early pace.

BRUNEL CHARM 6/1 its one run over this distance produced a slow time which didn't register on my graphs, it also didn't record a figure on its run over this distance at Kempton but has both good trainer + jockey stats and could be dangerous if allowed to set the pace which it did before when nothing else wanted to lead.

STREET PARADE 8/1 the trainer has a poor 6% win ratio here while the jockey is 0-39 for this stable which doesn't bode well, time wise its my other joint 2nd top rated but i think this one might be reliant on good to firm ground to its best form.

DESERT LAND 4/1 this one sits in 4th top spot on my speed figures, it won last time out over this c/d and that's where its best figure comes from but would need to improve time wise to followup here and i think this is another horse that needs good to firm ground to show its worth.

LATENT HEAT 14/1 hasn't any form at this distance and everything points to it wanting further to show its best form so this race might not be run to suit its racing style and I would expect it to be an outsider.

SUMMARY: This is a hard race to analyse, R.Hannon’s top weight TYPHOON TEN 10/3 who is my top rated is dropped in class here and its only the trainers 0-7 with his older horses that makes me wonder what to expect but it will be carrying some of my money as it is one of only two in this race which I haven't got a negative against their name the other is BRUNEL CHARM 6/1 who is relatively lightly raced and if it decides to take on the front runners role it could prove hard to catch as it has been running over further and it might have the stamina to hold the others at bay but I am not confident enough to narrow it down further and the latter selection is only included in case its allowed to set the pace but if it becomes a slow early pace then virtually any of them could win so any stakes will be kept low.

6:00 Kempton Racing Tips & Lay Bets (16th November)

KEMPTON 6.00 6F Class 3

A nice looking race but hard to confidently analyse to a conclusion, Recon Mission could set the pace here and in the make-up of this race stall 12 might not be too bad as there isn't any other natural front running types whilst Lancelot Du Lac has been known to set the pace if nothing else wants to and they are my 4th and 5th top rated horses, Total Committment from stall 1 is my 3rd top rated while Benny And The Jets can struggle to stay the distance if there is a fast early pace but is my 2nd top rated and this race may be ok for it but I will be trusting TYPHOON TEN 9/1 with my money, its coming out of stall 2 so should be able to get a good early position and then track the leaders which is its preferred racing style and jockey has a nice 20% win ratio for the Hannon stable on their older horses.

KEMPTON 8.00 6F Class 6 Div II

I can see a couple I will look to lay (The Establishment + No Diggity) who both might need further to shine, of the 2 known front runners the top weight Buy Me Back may do best, Perfect Symphony has a good time from 2019 and hasn't any recent c/d form but could go well here as could Ruspers Lad,Magicinthemaking and Secret Potion as they all have snippets of form that could see them in the mix, I will be backing PHOENIX STAR 8/1 who will be running on strongly at the finish and from stall 10 it could get a good tow into the race.

KEMPTON 8.30 6F Class 6 Div II

This 2nd division is impossible to analyse mainly due to there being no known front runners in the race and eight 3yo’s but I do have one of the 3yo’s in my top 4 ratings, in fact there's only 4 horses with a recorded time and I will be dutching all four of them to low stakes as anything could improve and scuttle my plans, I am hoping SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD 5/1 does best of the 3yo’s but it may need a degree of luck from stall 12 it is my 2nd top rated on just 2020 times and 4th top overall, the other 3 are older horses, AGUEROOO 20/1 is 2nd top overall if I use a time from 2018 and it hasn't run over this c/d since that year so cannot be ignored, GHEPARDO 6/1 is top rated on just 2020 c/d times which is always a positive while the 4th horse I will dutch is NAPPING 20/1 who has only a slow time over this c/d but has a good time from Lingfield but it is top rated using a Chelmsford time.
