4:00 Lingfield Racing Tips & Lay Bets (28th February)

LINGFIELD 4.00

Only 5 runners to analyse and I'm hoping the one I will be backing can lead all the way, I'm in a quandary with Shamshon it should be a lay as it doesn't always see out the 6th furlong in a fast run race and with just the 1 known frontrunner will the pace be quick enough to ruin this ones chances but it does have very good jockey stats, I will lay (Deputise) as it usually needs a run after a break from racing, Fizzy Feet has been in good form lately and could go well again here but my money will be on MERHOOB 7/2 and hope that Adam Kirby sets the right pace from the front to repel all challengers.

Merhoob 7/2 3rd

NEWCASTLE 6.15

Theres 13 runners here with very little early pace in the race, Quench Dolly is versatile and capable of leading if nothing else wants to but I think the pace might be set by Tomahawk Ridge although it's not run over this c/d before and its 2 AW runs have both been poor, I will put some lays up when I've seen the betting as this looks a competitive affair with several that could run well enough to make the frame on some bits of their form and speed figures, Gowanbuster, Buniann, Oriental Lilly, Eternal Sun, Kyllachey Warrior would be on this list but it usually needs its run after a break, the one that comes out top on my figures is Qaaraat but its best times have come in lower class races but this stable very often runs more than 1 horse in a race and can be a bit tricky with which ones are trying but its stablemate KLOPP 7/2 who won last time out has been found an ideal opportunity to follow up in this race but I may very well have a covering bet on the bottomweight just in case they are being tricky here.

Klppp 7/2 2nd

NEWCASTLE 7.45

This is a poor looking class 7 race and it is very hard to be confident with any selection at this donkey level but if you delve down deep enough you can/will find a few snippets to work with and I think I might have found one thread of form good enough for me to have a bet, maybe not at full strength at this class and a lot will depend on the betting.

Now just to see how many of you actually read what I say and not just concentrate on the highlighted/emboldened horses

I want you to look through this race and see if you can find the horse I will be backing, if enough people have a guess then I will reveal the mystery horse if not I will keep it to myself because at this level nothing is guaranteed to run its best.
